Vox Maris Resort Hotel

Hotel is beautiful, beyond clean, food exceptional and staff were all amazing! However We upgraded to a swim up room (1045) when we arrived (480 euro for 11 days), we were walked around the hotel on arrival by the concierge to show us the possible upgrades avaliable, a top floor room with tub, and a swim up room and then finally the room we had been allocated with an horriric view literally in the corner facing another balcony on the 2nd floor above the lobby! we had no option but to upgrade - it was really that bad! However we would not recommend any of the swim up rooms, we only used ours for 3hours on our first day because it was shaded from 10am (head in full shade on a lounger) our balcony was not big enough to move a sunbed around, if they arent shaded they are massively overlooked by the snack bar area and they are by the pool where all the evening entertainment is along with the 24/7 bar, so extremely noisey on an evening (not at all a luxury room) we had very poor WiFi to order drinks which was a perk to the room via bulter service (the only drinks which we ordered i had to chase up with reception (one 3 phone calls) and arrived after 50mins and the order was wrong!) we went to reception on 3 occasions about wifi but each time it was dismissed - shrugging of shoulders. If you want a sunbed by the pool set an alarm and get there for 7.30am, even though reserving sunbeds isnt allowed it isnt managed so come 10am theres nothing left and its absolutely packed! Theres also nothing around the hotel unless you like a long walk or a taxi ride. With all this said we did have an amazing time, Staff, food, entertainment team and cleanliness made up for the poor management of hotel rules and processes like how do you order drinks to a swim up room with no WiFi?! Leaving an average star review because feel we were scammed when we arrived, we were told we had sun on the swim up balcony until 3pm. We were shown around at 4.30pm and trusted them. Honesty is the best policy! Would we return...no!

Hotel reception staff were awful. I paid for late checkout and they put me in a disabled room the shower was not working , when I reported this they said it was my fault for not reporting it and I will not get a refund. I strongly do not recommend this hotel. Furthermore the AL A carte restaurant are only open 2 days a week for the evenings i it is not advertised properly realistically this is not a proper all inclusive.

I had read some negative reviews before we arrived but I don’t know why. The hotel is great, lovely rooms and the pool areas are lovely. Food is ok, typical all inclusive with lots of choice. The drinks weren’t very strong, not once did I even feel a tiny bit drunk. The cocktails were a bit hit and miss too. The man who takes orders and delivers drinks round the pool on roller skates was lovely. Always a smile and coming round asking if we wanted anything. There’s also a QR code option which is really quick. Drinks usually arrived in less than 5 minutes when ordering via the QR. The only thing I found a bit disappointing was the entertainment. We stayed for 7 days and 3 of those there was no entertainment. One night a live singer was advertised but nothing happened. We like to sit and watch a show in the evening so slightly disappointing but it didn’t spoil our holiday. Also the entertainment team didn’t make any effort to speak to us the whole week. One of the women did (the Russian one) but the 2 men showed zero interest in talking to us. I would definitely return to this hotel though as we did have a lovely week.

Our first holiday to Turkey and Vox Maris didn’t disappoint. Great location in Side, just outside town with beautiful spot on the beach with own all inclusive beach bar and snacks too. Staff are so friendly and attentive, big shout out to Mirza, Celal, Ezra, Yesim, Sevval, Halil and Ali to name a few. All work tirelessly to make stay memorable. Day and night entertainment is amazing, my fave being the Wednesday afternoon and Saturday night foam parties. Make sure you don’t miss them! We booked adults only hotel and average age has been 20-30 which made a great atmosphere (despite us being nearly 60). Slides open at set times during the day. Daily bus to the beach every 15 mins however only a 7-8 minute walk. Food amazing with good choices. Bit of a queue on pasta night with cheese wheel (between 5-30 minutes) but worth the wait. Resident cats at the hotel which were well looked after and as a cat lover this was lovely. Hairdressers very good, I had cut, colour and also returned for keratin treatment, husband also had his hair cut and we were both very happy with the results. Bag and shoe shop and small supermarket. There are also several bars within short walk if you need a change of scenery. Side old town €10 in taxi and worth a visit. Fabulous resort, Tesekkijur 🙌🏻

Just got back from a week at Vox Maris and it’s all positive from us 4 couples. Food was very good, different themed on different nights so you don’t get bored of the same food. There is loads of choice of food for everyone, the live cooking experience outside is great and a lovely touch. Efes on draught is always good and the cocktails were spot on. Staff were wonderful and made the holiday special. I genuinely don’t have anything negative to say maybe one small thing is there is no iron in hotel and you have to pay to get your clothes ironed but other than that, it’s 10/10 for me and we will be returning. Location wise it’s 1.4 mile away from side old town which is a must to visit!!
