We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Lux in Zanzibar. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible staff. A very special thank you to Martin, Moustapha, Charles, and Nartidal (I hope I spelled the name correctly!) for their kindness, professionalism, and constant smiles throughout our stay. They always went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Their warmth and attention to detail genuinely made a difference every single day. The atmosphere relaxing, and the whole team created such a positive and friendly environment that it felt like home away from home. The food is just amazing and got better every day We are leaving with amazing memories and will definitely come back to Zanzibar and of course to Lux. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic experience.

We spent a wonderful few days at LUX* Marijani with our two children. A huge thank you to the entire team for the exceptional service and all the thoughtful attention throughout our stay. From the management team to the chefs and all the staff members, everyone was incredibly attentive, warm, and smiling, both with us and with our children. The tropical garden is beautiful, and the beach and sea are stunning. The waves at high tide are spectacular, while the vast scenery revealed at low tide is just as breathtaking. Finally, the quality of the food is beyond question. A truly beautiful stay that we highly recommend.

Everything about our stay at LUX Marijani was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, smelled fresh, and was kept beautifully tidy thanks to housekeeping visiting twice a day. The location right next to the beach was perfect, and it was also convenient for excursions, with Stone Town and other attractions only about an hour away by car. Since we visited during the low season in May, the hotel was not fully occupied, which created a very calm and relaxed atmosphere. There were never any issues finding a sun bed, and the whole experience felt peaceful and personal. The food was consistently delicious, with a good variety every day and plenty of fresh, tasty fruit. We would absolutely love to come back to LUX Marijani one day.
