Our stay at LUX Marijani Zanzibar was nothing short of exceptional, and it will remain one of our most cherished family experiences. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with great hospitality. The resort is beautifully designed, blending modern elegance with the natural charm of Zanzibar, all set against the backdrop of pristine white sands and crystal‑clear turquoise waters. What truly stood out was how thoughtfully everything was tailored for families. The spacious rooms, serene surroundings, and impeccable cleanliness made our stay both relaxing and comfortable. Every detail seemed carefully considered to ensure guests of all ages could enjoy themselves. The staff were outstanding—consistently attentive, friendly, and always ready with a smile. Their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile made a remarkable difference and added a very personal touch to our stay. Dining at the resort was a delight. The variety of cuisine, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented dishes catered perfectly to both adults and children. Most importantly, the stay offered us something truly priceless: quality time together as a family. Whether it was leisurely beach walks, swimming, relaxing, peaceful moments by the pool, or simply enjoying the tranquil atmosphere, every moment felt special and unhurried. We left with wonderful memories and grateful hearts, and we will undoubtedly return. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at the LUX Maldives resort before so were aware of the standard of the hotel chain. So when we had decided we wanted to go to Zanzibar we knew we wanted to stay at LUX Marijani. We were not disappointed and had the same 5 star treatment we were knew LUX offers, staying for 10nights. We went for a sea view ground floor room which had gorgeous views right next to the beach, gorgeous pool and restaurants, so conveniently placed, never had to walk too far. I loved the vibe of this particular LUX hotel, its on a much smaller scale (with only around 80 rooms) than other LUX hotels which has a calm boutique hotel feel to it. Everywhere you look is picture perfect and found myself just taking photo after photo as the colours and scenery was breathtaking. We found March a great time to visit as it was quiet (its the start of rainy season and feel people panic they are not going to get good weather...so avoid this times, much to our advantage) We had lovely weather on average, a few cloudy days but always saw the extremely hot sun. The beach is one of the best beaches we have ever been on, a quiet white golden sandy and plenty of sunloungers to choose from (often with its own coconut tree). The service was truly amazing and made the experience so unique for us. Whether it was management, waiters, kitchen staff or gardeners, they all said hello and acknowledged you. We had such fun with all the waiting staff and have to thank the lovely team for making it so special, to name just a few - Olivia, Baraka, Mustapha, Ravhon, Haji, and Rehema from Public Relations. Every person was so lovely and were met with just smiles constantly from all staff would greet you, no matter what they do. The food was great and anything you liked which wasn't on the menu could be requested easily. The head chef made my favourite dish one night asking if wanted anything in particular cooked. We were on the all inclusive deal, and feel this is so worth it. Basically everything is included, so if you want a banana smoothie on the beach, or a passion fruit mojito at the pool you just had to ask the friendly staff and your wish came true... Thank you to everyone at Lux Marijani in making our holiday truly spectacular and as exactly how we wanted it to me.

Absolutely beautiful and Amazing experience. We came here from Tanaznia to finish off our 10 year anniversary trip and this was a most beautiful way to end our trip. Once the staff found out that it was our anniversary they made every effort to make it special. They started by upgrading our room, sending us special desserts throughout our stay and we had a special dinner too. All the staff were attentive and its unfortunate that I have forgotten their names otherwise I would of mentioned them here. The rooms are unique and spacious - very clean too. And the food is absolutely delicious. We tried all of their restaurants. I would 100% recommend staying here and we hope to be back soon.

Everything was perfect. I especially enjoyed the water gym exercises everyday. Our instructor Abubacar Hangminr…was so enthusiastic and professional. He moves with joy and is able to involve everyone.
