Shukran Palace

I visited Shukran Palace with my family in June (2026) and our stay was an experience! This resort is gorgeous with the most amazing architecture, landscape fit for a royal Palace, fountain by the lobby with the soothing sound of water, cascading pools with multiple outdoor bars and spacious suites with gorgeous furniture. The views of the Indian Ocean are spectacular no matter where you are on the property. With a fully equipped gym on the property or one can schedule a massage, either way you will find yourself relaxed here. Shukran Palace is truely a gem of the Zanzibar! We found employees constantly cleaning various areas and therefore the lounge to the rooms, cleanliness was impressive. The best part of this resort is its amazing staff members. Each and every employee takes it upon themselves to make their guests comfortable and with a warm smile. Lillian at the front desk is a customer service champion. Chef Suneel is gifted with mastering all types of cuisines. We throughly enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner . All dishes he prepared were packed with flavor. Having the privilege of traveling around the world, we found Shukran Palace to be top notch!

Wonderful place beutiful design it is ineed a palace. The staff are amazing. Lilian is my number one she is the best staff she knows how to make the guests feels at home. All the staff are very good, caring they make the place warm. Neema, Rahma, Samba, Peter, Mangu. I will always recomend this place

The trip to Shukran Palace was exquisite. I felt like royalty walking around the massive property. The staff was very friendly and attentive, knowledgeable and made the stay memorable. The food and drinks were top notch. I will be thinking of my time there for years to come. We also had fun snorkeling and checking out star island, which the hotel arranged for us. Make sure you take advantage of the amenities too: Gym, 3 pools, jaccuzzi’s on the balconies of rooms, and saunas. Hope I can come back someday.

Their attentiveness, friendliness, and willingness to assist with even the smallest requests made all the difference. Dining was another highlight — delicious food, beautifully presented, with a variety of options to suit every taste. Each meal felt like a special occasion. It is rare to find a place that combines elegance, comfort, and exceptional service so seamlessly. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a remarkable stay.

Beautiful views of the water. Rooms fit for a King and Queen with service to match, Shukran Palace did not disappoint. It was beautifully serene, relaxing property with delicious food. It made for a seriously elite experience. We’ll be back!
