Spice Tree by Turaco

Good location in Stone Town near the waterfront with a myriad of small streets, shops, and restaurants to explore. Rooms are a good size and clean with some local decorative touches but maybe lack a little ambience. Pleasant roof top restaurant, breakfast was OK, the tagine for dinner was excellent. Service was good. Probably about right in terms of value for money.

Beautifully decorated room,very clean and comfortable.staff are very attentive.highlight of the stay was the food and service. Had two meals in taarab restaurant and must say chef Keith and team provided excellent fresh food with a local touch. Special shout out to kalista for recommending dishes and drinks. Highly recommended

Nested in the narrow streets of stone town,a few minutes walk to the beach and tourist spots. Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff are very helpful and kind. Wide spread of international and local breakfast. Chef Keith was kind enough to explain the local fruits and dishes and cater to r needs. Will surely recommend this hotel.
