The Neela Boutique Hotel Stone Town

We spent 2 nights in this beautiful little hotel and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the food (breakfast and dinner) really special and delicious- try the parachichi in the morning and seafood curry in the evening. We liked the interior design very much- modern with an African touch - and the complementary dhow cruise with drinks and snacks on board. The hotel is situated in the old town, in walking distance to all the interesting places to see.

Nicely designed clean modern stylish boutique hotel in a good central location for walking out and sightseeing. Good breakfast, and charming efficient staff, who are particularly welcoming and friendly. Stairs are a bit of a workout, but staff will help with luggage

Had lunch here on a day trip to Stone Town. Highly recommend- delicious options catering for all dietary requirements and great friendly service from Selestin. I had the fresh catch succotash which was lovely, as was the house salad and gyoza chosen by the rest of the family. Give it a try.

What a great Hotel - filled with smiling efficient staff who are clearly well trained and looked after . Great room and lovely restaurant on the roof . Excellent food and Nothing too much trouble . As we don’t eat meat despite there being rough seas and very little fish they went specially to the market to get us fresh fish for dinner . Highly recommended
