Hi, just to let you know all fellow travelers - we went to Coral Costa Caribe - Juan Julio - Santo Domingo DR from Jun 16 to 23, 2026. Usually, we take some time to make our decisions on the resorts we pick,  but this time without any hesitation, we picked the Coral Costa Caribe, and we do not regret it at all.  From the Rooms to the buffet, to the staff - were all so nice and accommodating. And what I liked most about this resort - it is a wheelchair accessible resort and a small resort, especially when you get older,  you really appreciate this part.  We really had a great time and best of all we are beach people not pool people - the beach is gorgeous - yes there is a little sargasso but not as what there is in other countries and other resorts. Please do try this resort, especially with the FIFA cup goin on. There is so much fun watching the games at the Sportsbar.   Shout out especially to:  Nicholas Ramos - Customer Service Manager - Thank you for all your help!! Nancy - Restaurant La Costa Server - always there with her bright smile and service. Fabrizio and Erick - Pool / Towel Service - who always had towels for us. Jose - Head Manager - La Terraza Buffet - always there to help. And the two servers - one always serving CAFE and we can't remember the other one's name.  Nelly - Sport Bar bartender - always available to make that drink even during the FIFA CUP. Henry - Life Guard at the beach - Always there with a smile. Ellenzer Ortiaz - Concierge - Always there with a big smile. You all made our vacation so very SPECIAL. Thank you so much!!! And not forgetting our Sunwing Rep - Jose - always available to help.

The hotel is ok, the food mediocre.We paid extra for a open view rook, and were treated to 3 to 6 hours a day of some idiot screaming into a microphone. The hotel says it is a separate business. Would suggest that you separate, not worth the hassle

I booked a 7 day stay at Coral Costa Caribe in the Dominican Republic, and although I am genuinely not a picky traveler and have been on many vacations before, I felt compelled to share my honest experience for anyone considering this resort. The rooms have a toilet bowl smell.. The beach itself is beautiful, and one thing the resort does very well is keeping the beach clean with very little seaweed. Unfortunately, the overall experience was far from relaxing. The biggest issue is the constant noise throughout the resort. Loud music plays all day long, but even more frustrating is the nonstop microphone announcements and shouting from staff and entertainers. You can hear it everywhere, including from your room until around 11 PM every night. If you are looking for peace, quiet, or a calm beach vacation, this is likely not the place for you. Even while trying to relax at the beach, there is never really a moment of silence. Someone is constantly speaking or yelling into a microphone, making it very difficult to unwind or enjoy the atmosphere. Another major downside is the nonstop harassment from beach vendors. The resort allows vendors to walk directly up to guests throughout the day selling massages, souvenirs, excursions, and various items. They approach you repeatedly, even when you are clearly resting or trying to sleep on your beach chair. At times, I was literally woken up by people trying to sell me something. After a while, it becomes exhausting because you never truly get a chance to relax without interruption. I will be posting videos so people can judge the atmosphere for themselves before booking. If you are travelling with children or looking for a very lively, loud, party style environment, you may enjoy it. However, if you are an adult looking for tranquility, rest, and a peaceful beach experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
