We stayed here in march 2026. Resort beach was breath taking, the food was mediocre. We did a scuba excursion to get our certification and it made our whole trip. We went with Shark Juan Dolio Divers. Hector and Daniel were absolutely amazing! Not only were they extremely knowledgeable with the patience of saints, but they were also incredibly calming and reassuring. If you’re looking for instructors who truly care about their students, look no further! We also did the Santo Domingo excursion. The tour guide did know many languages but seemed to forget to do the information in English. The caverns were beautiful

Location was good Atmosphere wasgood Rooms were ok. Provides all the necessities but a bit plain. No decor very basic. Had to have the shower fixed twice. Saw several large roaches in our room. Value was ok. You get what you pay for. Food at buffet not good at all. They need more variety. Restaurants that needed reservations were much better. Cleanliness of our room was good. Resort was clean also. Towels were a big issue. Room towels were not white anymore and very dingy need to be replaced . Pool towels were bad also, they were stained and even ripped. They also need to be replaced. Noise level was fine Service was good friendly staff

For the price, this smaller resort is an absolute hidden gem! The size of the property is just perfect—we never felt like it was overcrowded, whether we were relaxing at the spectacular beach, hanging out in the lobby, or dining at the restaurants. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and appear recently renovated, which made our stay very pleasant. The staff here is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. We were very impressed with the food! We loved the buffet, which consistently offered great options for everyone's tastes. We also had a major soft spot for the Tex-Mex à la carte restaurant—it was so good that we actually went twice during our stay! If you are a golfer, the hotel is very conveniently located near the golf courses. Overall, we felt incredibly comfortable throughout our entire vacation and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!
