Best Western Hotel Residence Italia

Booked my stay online and, due to an urgent family matter, I had to add an additional day at late notice. Followed the email link to modify and, without realising, ended up with 2 separate bookings which only came to my notice after the hotel had charged me twice. Having already been charged for 3 of the 4 day stay (at a slightly discounted rate) before arrival, you would think that any reasonable hotel would just add an additional day at the higher rate. But no, Best Western charged me twice and then would only refund me for the discounted booking, charging the higher rate for the full 4 days regardless of the fact I had already paid for 3 at the discounted rate. When I attempted to discuss what looks like rather sharp practice with Monique (?) in the Milan Customer Service office, she hung up on me twice. I was also told rather patronisingly by the hotel manager that I should be grateful to get anything back at all and that I consciously chose to book the same hotel twice for the same 3 nights. Why would anyone consciously book the same hotel twice? The user experience should be that you click modify and get a modification, not an entirely new booking. Best Western seem unwilling to accept this. Very poor customer service.

Great hotel for your stay in this area, part of thee international brand and basically, all that you need. Location was very good. Reception staff is quite friendly and helpful, they will do everything they can to accommodate you. Room was a decent size and clean. Definitely recommended if you are in this area and will be back again as I do tend to go back to hotels that I have used in the past

From all my travels, this has got to be by far the most customer service driven hotel I’ve ever experienced. The word NO, doesn’t exist here. The staff were always readily available to assist, even by going the extra mile. Perfectly based to get you to all parts of Cagliari, clean, neat and free parking with ample restaurants close by - what more could you ask for! A special thanks to ALL the staff and a particular mention to Riccardo, I hope you continue to strive and climb the ranks with Best Western recognising your outstanding managerial skills - Grazie!

Far enough from Cagliari, 10 km, in a good position. Close to Poetto and 15 mins drive to reach Cagliari. We chose this hotel bcs we wanted to explore free beach like Cala Regina. We wanted a place easy to reach, distant by the traffic jam in Cagliari.

Room is spacious with a balcony to hang your wet clothes. Close to Poetto beach but quite far from the city center but accessible with bus. Service is really good with very friendly staff. Good value for the money. Downside I could think of is the lack of food you could order.
