Sholeo Lodges Maspalomas

What a fantastic find this hotel was. The staff were fantastic, rooms were clean, modern, fresh and have a little fridge. Pool was great, no sunbed wars here, they are plentiful. Location is great, short walk to things, but right outside the hotel is a supermarket and also a restaurant which is great value, especially for a quick lunch. We were B&B - the breakfast was nice and fresh, with decent coffee. Have seen people saying its chaos, IMO it isnt if people follow the simple flow. Couple of points to note...... (doesnt bother me but could some) Rooms are cleaned every other day or every 3rd day. You enter your room with a keypad / App on your phone. We arrived late *midnight*, would have been a nice touch if there was a bottle of water in the room. As I say, didnt and doesnt bother me, but maybe would some. Overall an excellent stay, would 100% stay again. It was also decent value for money.

Just at the airport having stayed at Sholeo for a week, it lived up to expectations and I will definitely look to stay again when coming back to Gran Canaria. Stayed in the most basic room which was a good size, aircon, fridge fits in plenty once the shelves taken out. Beds comfy, TV in front of the bed. Seen reviews of people complaining about having to keep curtains closed for privacy, generally I keep them closed to keep the heat of the sun out and don't spend all day in the room so not an issue whatsoever, plus there is just a net curtain you can use if that bothered. Breakfast was decent, was nice to have included and went most days. The overall vibe of the hotel was very chilled, guests of all nationalities all just chilled out and the pool area is really nice, never had a problem getting a lounger even when going out late. The staff are really great, the reception staff particularly helpful and great guys. Rooms cleaned a couple of times, think we had towels a few times at least. I don't need the room cleaning daily so works for me. Location is great and the restaurant out front jardin del sol perfect for when you are self catering, saw half the hotel there at lunch each day. Very reasonable and good food. The balconies aren't private and enclosed but it's not an issue for me, still found it really relaxing and the chairs at the shared table area were lovely to chill in after the pool. I've been to gran canaria many times, stayed at a good few hotels and this one rates very highly. I have to rate 5 stars as for the price you are paying it ticked every box for me. Yes there are nicer hotels on the island but you won't get a hotel this good for the price.

I recently stayed at Sholeo Lodges Maspalomas, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. * **Perfect Location & Seamless Arrival:** The lodge is in a great location, making it incredibly easy to get around. Right from the start, the check-in process was a breeze—quick, efficient, and welcoming. * **Spotless & Comfortable Rooms:** My room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and equipped with excellent air conditioning. A huge bonus was the little in-room fridge; it was completely silent, which made for a perfectly peaceful night's sleep. The pool area was also well kept and had plenty of sun beds as well as hammocks and large beanbags. * **Wonderful Staff:** The staff here are fantastic. They are incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. * **Delicious Breakfast:** I opted for the bed and breakfast option and was so glad I did. There was an amazing selection every morning—lots of fresh fruits, salads, fresh bread, and delicious pastries. I highly recommend Sholeo Lodges Maspalomas to anyone looking for a comfortable, stress-free, and enjoyable getaway. I would definitely stay here again have already booked my next visit.

We are coming to the end of our pleasant and relaxing stay at Sholeo Maspalomas having previously stayed at Sholeo Cicero Flats in Las Palmas. This place is amazing - clean, new, and the staff are lovely - especially Fran on the breakfast service. The loop suite we stayed in was well appointed and comfortable. My only negatives on our stay - one minor and one major are .. The music piped around the pool area and complex starts at 10 am ( prompt) 🥳 and finishes at 6pm and can be a little repetitive and intrusive. My major negative about this resort is the smoking and vaping situation in the restaurant area at breakfast times. Every morning cigarette smoke has reached us as we are breakfast. This morning we were surrounded on all sides by 3 separate women puffing away on cigarettes and vapes, much to the disgust of ourselves and fellow diners. To lifelong non smokers this is disgusting and especially so at meal times. This is constructive criticism as we have really enjoyed our time at Sholeo Maspalomas. We are considering booking for a month in February/March 2027 but we would only do so if the smoking issue in the restaurant can be resolved 🚭 To get back on a positive track Sholeo Maspalomas is a very nice resort and we would definitely consider coming back.

Just returned from a 10 Day stay at Shoelo Lodges Very modern accommodation and facilities breakfast very good and a big shout out for Honey at the bar. Her wonderful personality was enjoyed by everyone at the pool area Suggestion. The hot food area of the breakfast buffet could be improved. When taking the lids of the hot food containers to remove food on to your plate, there is nowhere to place the lid. A hot food container with a hinged lid would solve all this. Apart from that everything else is great
