FERGUS Puerto de la Cruz

Krásný udržovaný 4* hotel, usměvaví vstřícný personál....stravování na perfektní úrovni, každý si nevybere z mnoha ingrediencí kvalitních jídel, každý večer jiná specialita. Některé komentáře jsou evidentně od konkurence.....není co vytknout.....v tomto hotelu jsme už po druhé a vždy super.....čisto.

Spent a week half board plus here. The entrance and lobby area are quite spectacular and our experience of check in at reception was excellent. We had a superior room on the 6th floor overlooking Mount Teide which was stunning and also got the sun most of the day when it appeared. We were happy with our room. It was comfortable, clean and met our needs. We would have liked to have the room cleaned in the morning whilst we were out, but it was always mid afternoon. The bar area in reception was very good. Staff were friendly, drinks were good quality and reasonably priced. We didn't participate in any of the animations as it's not our thing, but it sounded like the guests around the pool were having fun. Our experience of the food was generally good. The theme nights brought variety. We both loved the salad bar, but the hot food even though tasty needed to be warmer. Breakfast was generally good. Personally I would like a greater selection of pastries. The juice and coffee were not very nice. Overall we enjoyed our week. We normally spend 8 weeks self-catering catering at the Casablanca apartments opposite but had to cancel due to a bereavement. We managed to book a last minute deal at the Fergus which was great value. We love Puerto de la cruz and have been visiting for 20 years. The hills and walking and general ambience suits us perfectly. I would recommend Fergus if you like the All Inclusive format and we would return for a short break.

Lovely hotel. Staff were excellent, very helpful. Room great, kept spotlessly clean every day. Pool area good, no problem with sunbeds. Is at the top of a big hill but we walked up and down most days. The town is really interesting to visit. Also went to the botanical garden, about 15 mins walk away, really beautiful. Only downside of the hotel was the temperature of the food at mealtimes. I was OK as, due to an allergy, I had a meal cooked each time, which I really appreciated, but my husband was disappointed that the food wasn't warm, even the chips were cold. If that can be sorted out will really be an excellent hotel. Overall had a brilliant time

Polite, helpful and always busy. Helpful reception staff ,spoke English. Hotel spotlessly clean, Great variety of food, changed every day with themed evening menus. Wonderful evening entertainment programme.

I am currently staying at the Fergus Hotel. Our en suite has a bath with overhead shower. Although the bath has low sides and a handrail we were not too confidant in using it as we are elderly and used to walk in showers. We asked at desk if we could have a rubber slip mat and within 10 minutes it was delivered. This was around 9:00pm. That’s what I call service!
