FERGUS Puerto de la Cruz

Krásný udržovaný 4* hotel, usměvaví vstřícný personál....stravování na perfektní úrovni, každý si nevybere z mnoha ingrediencí kvalitních jídel, každý večer jiná specialita. Některé komentáře jsou evidentně od konkurence.....není co vytknout.....v tomto hotelu jsme už po druhé a vždy super.....čisto.

Hotel nice. Rooms on 7th Floor adult only with access to lovely roof terrace and jacuzzi. Located at the top of a very steep hill accessed via a winding road or over 120 steps - not for the faint hearted. We only had B&B which was a blessing as the food wasn't great. The breakfast buffet was cold. The coffee from the machines was undrinkable/disgusting. So were the fruit juices. Gkad we didn't have to have any other meals there as spoke to quite a few other guests who said the food in the evening wasn't good either. Little overpriced in my opinion. Puerto de la cruz is ok for a couple of days. Beaches are black sand and not enticing. There seemed to be a lack of bars on the promenade. Due to the high rise nature of the hotels many other bars are permanently in the shade .

We are currently staying here in superar double room.its very nice big bed comfortable ,clean bath& shower.food loads choice we not picky suits us breakfast & dinner we choose!!!. Staff very nice we love this hotel first visit we be back loads pools shame weather not good . First week January. Thank u cleaner's n all hotel staff we be bck nxt year .beautiful surroundings very clean

disgusting hotel not for the disabled at all its rooms are filthy bathroom is a disgrace it was absolutely manky and wheelchairs don’t fit in door ways properly or in the lifts matress filthy people with nut allergy food is labelled wrong some staff ok steep banks and steps every where could not get wheel chair on balcony wheel chair is damaged as was hard to get through doors so doors damaged also.

Spent a week half board plus here. The entrance and lobby area are quite spectacular and our experience of check in at reception was excellent. We had a superior room on the 6th floor overlooking Mount Teide which was stunning and also got the sun most of the day when it appeared. We were happy with our room. It was comfortable, clean and met our needs. We would have liked to have the room cleaned in the morning whilst we were out, but it was always mid afternoon. The bar area in reception was very good. Staff were friendly, drinks were good quality and reasonably priced. We didn't participate in any of the animations as it's not our thing, but it sounded like the guests around the pool were having fun. Our experience of the food was generally good. The theme nights brought variety. We both loved the salad bar, but the hot food even though tasty needed to be warmer. Breakfast was generally good. Personally I would like a greater selection of pastries. The juice and coffee were not very nice. Overall we enjoyed our week. We normally spend 8 weeks self-catering catering at the Casablanca apartments opposite but had to cancel due to a bereavement. We managed to book a last minute deal at the Fergus which was great value. We love Puerto de la cruz and have been visiting for 20 years. The hills and walking and general ambience suits us perfectly. I would recommend Fergus if you like the All Inclusive format and we would return for a short break.
