FERGUS Puerto de la Cruz

Krásný udržovaný 4* hotel, usměvaví vstřícný personál....stravování na perfektní úrovni, každý si nevybere z mnoha ingrediencí kvalitních jídel, každý večer jiná specialita. Některé komentáře jsou evidentně od konkurence.....není co vytknout.....v tomto hotelu jsme už po druhé a vždy super.....čisto.

On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from a superior room to a magnum on the adults only 7th floor, however the magnum did not live up to its name, little niggle points that could easily be corrected, poor mattresses on the beds, painting and grouting not finished properly. Storage was an issue with 2 drawers and a hanging rail not being enough. The sun areas are good and well appointed. Evening entertainment was what you would expect, mildly entertaining. We were all inclusive but if I asked for a large beer this was denied and you were served your beer in a small not even half pint glass, asked for a cocktail and was told I would have to pay extra?? The food is not great, luke warm but a varied choice so if you're not picky you should be ok, breakfast probably the best meal. Most of the staff were pleasant and accommodating.No real issues with the pools and the hotel is kept spotless by hard working cleaners. The hotel is up a hill at the top of a winding road or 147 steps. Tried hard to give it 4 stars but it's really a 3 star hotel. Would I recommend? Not really.

The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful What let’s the hotel down was the food ,in the 10 days we were there we never had a hot meal They were always Luke warm Unfortunately I am a fussy eater so tend to opt for vegetarian meals but all they had was crusty bread chips salads and vegetables no protein based food only cheese and eggs If I had had a young child I would of struggled to feed them On a positive note there was lots of fresh fruit There are two pools which you can use but one of the pools is up some very steep steps and the bar there you have to pay for drinks where as the drinks were free if you were all inclusive in the downstairs bar The entertainment was a hit and a miss but we spent most of our nights in the hotel which was enjoyable The hotel is on top of a very steep hill which got quite slippery if it rained There is a free bus down into the town and a free bus back but only at certain times which your glad of because the hill Is so steep to climb up back to the hotel I probably won’t come back based on the steep hill and the food but this review is not a reflection on the staff as they were excellent

Very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The location with view on El Teide is nice. Beautiful and comfortable rooms with two swimming pools and solarium. One only remark: we had a half-pension: the breakfast buffet was perfect with a lot of choice. For the evening meal, there was also a lot of choice and plenty of food on the buffet. Usually, the fish and the meat were OK, but the quality and taste of the vegetables was poor. The entertainment team was great! Anyway very good hotel for a family holiday. I would recommend it.

My friends and I recently came for a girly weekend away abroad. We usually go on city breaks, but thought this time would be nice to relax by a pool somewhere! We picked the exact right location and hotel. As soon as we walked through the doors, the staff were nothing but friendly. We most definitely got our money's worth with the all inclusive aspect of the trip. The drinks were delicious, and the variety of food at the buffet every day was amazing. Both pools were clean and had stunning scenery around it. Our room was tidy and had a beautiful sea view. Although we were among the youngest guests at the hotel, it did not stop us from having a great time! My friends and I would specially like to thank Bruna, who made the trip extremely memorable. From bingo by the pool, to giving us book recommendations, and hosting the quiz at the evening entertainment, she was amazing. The dance party was a real highlight to the holiday, Bruna got us up dancing and never in a million years would I think i'd be doing a routine to 'Proud Mary' with my friends in front of strangers! Thank you for accommodating a much needed holiday and to Bruna who is a real credit to the hotel!
