Melia Jardines del Teide

My friend and I stayed at this amazing hotel for 10 nights to celebrate my 60th birthday. The hotel is beautiful, the way it opens out from the reception, cascading waterfall, comfy seating around the hotel. Our room was a mini suite, complementary slippers, robes, toiletries even a bottle of bubbly to start our holiday off. Around the pool, there was plenty of comfortable sunbeds, friendly staff at the pool who served our 1pm gins!! The breakfast catered for everyone, from hot English breakfast to tapas and everything inbetween. I will definitely stay at the amazing hotel. Thank you to all the staff who made my Birthday special.

What a great week at the jardines del teide. Lovely rooms, super clean resort, the restaurant in the all inclusive package served tasty fresh food and the staff were so helpful and greeted us with big smiles every meal time. But I reserve the biggest thanks to Alberto, Borja and Jesus ( I’m sorry I can’t recall the ladies name) down at the pool bar, they just made us feel so welcome, always stopped for a chat making the stay special. Would love to return one day.

We travelled as a group of 6 couples to celebrate a 60th birthday. The location was great. The rooms were great. The staff were superb. The food was varied and always excellent and plentiful. The choice of drinks was spot on too. Not a single complaint from any of our 12 strong party. We had a really great time.

This was a return visit for a group of 8 of us who also stayed in June 25. We stayed in Level rooms. The hotel and staff yet again surpassed themselves. We were warmly remembered and welcomed by staff in the restaurants and bars which was a nice touch. The meals from breakfast lunch and dinner, in all venues, including the afternoon snacks were of their usual high standards. The housekeeping was also impeccable. The evening entertainment was very good in comparison to a lot of places, and the hotel attracts an appreciative crowd. We have already finalising arrangements for 2027. The only negative is the charging for the minibar. These are just waters or cans of drink (lager/soft) that are available from the bars so it seems a little bit of a money grab to charge for this when already all inclusive and on The Level.

I loved this hotel, the staff, the food, the rooms were all exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. The only negative was that we were turned away for dinner for wearing flip flops, despite the fact I had worn them every night for dinner for the 4 days prior, so it was a bit conflicting. However we had a great time. I fully recommend the buffet breakfast and get escooters everywhere - so much cheaper than cabs!
