The breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of choices and good quality food. The entertainment is also good and enjoyable. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is very Spanish-oriented rather than English-oriented. Food in the restaurants is quite expensive and not worth the money. Unfortunately, the service from the pool supervisors was very disappointing. They often seemed unfriendly and focused on the wrong things. For example, they would stop guests from casually throwing a small ball in an almost empty pool, while at the same time doing very little to deal with the issue of sunbeds being reserved for hours by guests who weren’t using them. Our air conditioning broke down twice during our stay. It leaked so much that we had to use all of our towels to catch the water. When we asked for clean replacement towels, our request was accepted but we waited for half an hour and they didn’t come. Considering that we had to leave we used the swimmingpool towels instead. On the positive side, the room itself was comfortable, and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping it clean every day.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect: the facilities were excellent, the rooms were clean, and the entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. A special thank you to Yamila, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and always greeted us with a smile. She made our dining experience even more enjoyable with her warmth and outstanding service. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful stay. We can't wait to come back!

We had originally booked a different hotel in Tenerife and changed because we had been advised that our adult son who has a learning disability would probably not cope with the number of children. I’m so glad we did!!! The MELIÁ JARDINES Del Tiede is a wonderful adults only hotel. From the moment you arrive nothing is too much trouble. We have met some lovely families and couples and have had the best time. We booked a Level sea view suite and it was so worth it. The view is amazing. Comfortable sun loungers, separate pool, level lounge with drinks and tapas and à la carte breakfast. We have been very spoilt. Initially you feel a bit daunted by the number of stairs but there are plenty of lifts that you can get round the hotel with no problem. The thing that makes this hotel fantastic has been the staff. Every single one of them has been amazing. They all go above and beyond to make your stay memorable! Especially Ramon, Borgas, & Jonathan at the pool. Hawa & all the waiters and waitresses in the restaurants. The circle staff Miguel, Toni, Jasmine, Tam & Carla. They made us feel really special and were very lovely to our son. This is definitely a hotel that we will come back to!!

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Melia hotel in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. My wife, daughter and I opted for a junior suite with balcony and sea view on the Level. From our arrival, the service was exemplary. We were met off our transfer coach by a member of staff with hot towels who took our luggage and led us down to the Level reception before preparing us welcome drinks. Check in was quick and easy. The room was large and well appointed. The air conditioning was completely effective. We all slept well despite the Canarian heat. The beds were large and comfortable. Our towels were changed daily, room cleaned to spotless and the turndown service was a nice touch. I know ow some complain that the minibar is an extra charge. This didn't bother us as food and drink was plentiful throughout the hotel all day. The Level pool was a relaxing environment with plenty of sun loungers. We had fresh towels there each day also. Ramon deserves a special mention. He kept us watered throughout the day with attentive service. He brought fruit around daily too, which was lovely. On the Level, you have access to an exclusive lounge with pastries and drinks available throughout the day. The lounge doubles as a place to eat an a la carte breakfast. The Eggs Benedict were lovely, as was the avocado and poached egg on toast. Little touches like being served our breakfast at a well-presented table made all the difference to our stay. The Level Lounge has a further guise. In the evenings it becomes Casa Nostra, an Italian restaurant that is well worth a visit. As we stayed for ten nights all inclusive, two evenings at this restaurant were included in the price of our holiday. The service was wonderful, as was the food and the wine list. I recommend the mussels to start and the Ragu for mains, which was authentic and tasty. The food in the main buffet restaurant was ok but could have been a little warmer. I imagine this is as easy as cranking up the heat on the hot plates. Still. We enjoyed what we ate there and, as ever, the service was cracking. This was our first experience in an adult only hotel and it was a game changer. Our daughter is grown up and the opportunity to enjoy each other's company in the peace and quiet suited us. If you're into loud music and a packed daily itinerary of activities, then this hotel probably isn’t for you. However, it was just what we needed. We will be returning.

Exceptional service everywhere you go around the hotel cannot fault it what so ever! Food is okay could be better, Room was surprisingly big and spacious, nice and relaxing , however could’ve done with some music or more entertainment around the pool area. Ropi from the entertainment team was amazing made the holiday so much more enjoyable! Absolutely lovely man along with all the servers!
