Third visit to this hotel and we had a great week. The staff were very welcoming and helpful right across the hotel, our room was fantastic and the views right across Costa Adeje are beautiful at all times of day. Food was excellent every day. The only criticism I have is the state of the bottom of the swimming pool! It’s peeling badly and looks dreadful, which is a problem when they have made the pool the visual focus of the hotel. We didn’t use the pool but heard other guests complain of how shabby it looks. It really needs urgent attention.

What an amazing week we had! The hotel itself is beautiful, incredibly well maintained, and everything from our room, to the food, and entertainment was excellent. We genuinely couldn’t fault our stay. All the staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating to any requests we had. A special mention has to go to Diana, Kevin, Ropi and Yaiza, who brought so much energy, fun and laughter to the aqua fitness and all the other activities throughout the day. Their service was 10/10 and they really made our experience special, creating a lovely atmosphere for everyone staying at the hotel! The choice of food was outstanding and there was a great selection of different cuisines throughout the week. We also can’t forget to mention Jose, who was our favourite waiter/bar tender. He made brilliant cocktails and has great customer service. Overall, we’ve had the best holiday, and honestly did not want to leave. We will 100% be back again!! Lydia, Jenna and Izzy <3

The hotel is located on a hillside overlooking Costa Adeje, there are lifts but the hotel may not be suited to people with mobility problems. We booked the Level and upon arrival we were shown to the check in area for Level guests, we arrived around 1300 and as expected out room wasn't ready, but they told us if it became available before check in time they would send us a text, they did at 1430. Our room was a pool walk out junior suite located by the level pool, it was a nice room, the A/C worked really well and kept the room lovely and cool. You can see directly into the bathroom (not the toilet area) from the bedroom/lounge but there is a blind if you don't like to be watched when showering/cleaning your teeth. The floor of the room could've done with a wash as when we were walking from the shower into the room our feet were black, but we did see a room having a deep clean on change over day. The other gripe was we paid extra for a walk out to pool but the beds closest to our room were for anyone to use and usually taken early as they were in the shade first thing, but we never had an issue getting a bed. Bar service was good. We didn't use the main pool but it looks like it needs a refurbishment as there were black marks all over it. We did the glass jewellery and art workshops and really enjoyed both of them. Evening entertainment was pretty good, some were more to our taste than others, Sonora rock band were brilliant on a Tuesday and really enjoyed the acrobatic show. The buffet was one of the better ones that I have visited and there was plenty of choice, perhaps sometimes a bit difficult to make a complete meal but I loved the salad bar and usually teamed it with meat. The desert bar was a dieters nightmare as everything looked and tasted delicious. Drink service was very good and always with a smile. The Level area was lovely with beautiful views and service on the whole was very good, just don't forget to go in and check in for breakfast or you'll get told off:) A sign at the bottom of the stairs would stop this happening. The snacks were ok but there was plenty of drinks to choose from, the afternoon tapas was ok but not a lot of choice if you have a diary allergy. We did attend a Melia circle talk and did sign up as in between the chat and actually signing up we did some research and realised that it would definitely work for us. A special shout out to Toni and Nicole our concierge who helped us with so many different things, and if you spoke to Toni about something by the time you got back to your room it was done. Nothing is too much trouble. These ladies are an absolute asset to your company. All the staff seem happy and loved to have a laugh and joke with you. Another shout out to Kevin. Wish I could remember the names of the other people who went above and beyond to make us feel like family. Would I stay here again? Absolutely Would I recommend it to friends? Definitely.
