Melia Jardines del Teide

Jardin del TD. 1st of May 2025. Level service, the hotel is quite big, but if you're in the level it doesn't feel too big. Breakfast was cooked to order in a separate dining room, good service and lots to choose from. Booking in very efficient, the Cava always helps and if you are at the right time there are butties and more drinks available included in the package, you could actually eat all day if you wanted too. The room is good, spotless with all the amenities and your own sunbeds but unfortunately not cushioned which you would expect, so a little bit too hard, no toilet brush or bidet so take your squeezy portable one, shower was a bit slippy. Coffee pods a plenty and water, greeting bottle of wine, robes and slippers all included, well worth it. Entertainment team really good, big thanks to Robbie for looking after us and his protege learning on the job who is a lovely young lad, and of course, the main man who ran it all. Staff were excellent, bar staff are fantastic, always there if you need anything. You can have snacks at lunchtime, drinks and you can also have a drink before you actually go for your evening meal. The restaurant was very good, lots of variation, to suit everyone, normal buffet. The pool was the right temperature, so it was ideal, the weather was a bit cold for May but that’s not the hotels fault so it was jump in for a warm and woolly vest on at night if you brought one. Definitely going again and worth paying the extra for the level. Cabaret first night, Barry White, we were in heaven, great tracks and performer, made the night work, ended up with a radio mic in my hand doing a bit of a duet, next we had Soul voices, two brothers did the slowies in the first half, good tracks, second-half great harmonies, very Luther Vandross, lots of dancing. Next a Latin duo, music a bit too loud, then we had a wish come true, the following night, a fantastic Cuban Latin female singer asked would you like a Cha-cha ? empty floor, sang Sway, who could resist, dancing all night audience loved it. Next up guitarist and girl singer some good tracks worked well, followed by a Rock band very good and danceable, last night was a reggae singer with DJ and a guy on the bongos, not quite for us but the bongo guy was really working the audience and made the night. I've got to say the cabaret was excellent, there was the odd duff one as usual, the positioning was great, the dance floor was good and the whole atmosphere was geared to enjoyment, which is how it should be.

A great 4 night stay for our wedding anniversary! The hotel is top notch. We were greeted with bubbly on arrival and also had a bottle of bubbly and cake in our room on our actual anniversary which was a nice touch! The rooms are clean, specious and have the amenities that you need such as soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. They really do look luxurious and feel like you’re in a much higher prices resort. The food selection is outstanding! For breakfast lunch and dinner there is so much choice (even for my husband who isn’t the most experimental) there was hot and cold choices with both big variations! The space was large so no issue getting a seat. You can also sit outside too which is nice. The pool area is lovely with lots of pool to swim in. There is a large number of beds too so it’s nice that people don’t reserve beds at silly oclock in the morning. Location is nice as it’s set back from the main front so less lively and felt that little more special! Highly recommend getting a scooter as it’s very hilly on the way back up! Would definitely recommend this resort, we’re already looking forward to visiting again!

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at this wonderful hotel and would highly recommend it. The staff are very welcoming and friendly (especially Alice & Miguel in reception), going out of their way to say hello and ask if you need anything. We had a Junior Suite with a sea view, which didn't disappoint us. The room was spotlessly clean and serviced everyday, including restocking the mini bar - this was included in our all inclusive basis. We didn't feel it necessary to upgrade to The Level package other guests have mentioned as we found the main pool area much nicer than the pool area marked as exclusive for Level guests. The all inclusive package also included all the drinks and cocktails, which were all expertly and freshly made. There were always plenty of sunbeds around the pool and guests were discouraged from reserving sunbeds. The 'Grab & Go' pool bar was efficiently run by the lovely Rebecka who was always smiling, despite being busy all day. To address a comment made recently on this site, the pool bar now offers take away salad pots, fresh fruit, cakes and pastries as well as just plain sandwiches - this may show the hotel listens to feedback on Trip Adviser. What we really liked about this hotel (apart from the amazing staff) was its entertainment programme. It was there if you wanted it, and apart from the pool activity at 12noon everyday, you wouldn't know it was there if you didn't want it. We did the soap making, Aloe Vera, wine tasting and glass neckless workshops. The workshops were organised by the entertainment team (run by the wonderful Enea & Fernando) and provided by local craftspeople from the island. The standard was very high, all the materials provided and were free to attend. We also did the stretch class, pilates and Tai Chi. If you don't like lying by the pool all day, these activities make a welcome alternative. We dined in the Mosaica restaurant everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food choice was vast, with something to suit all tastes. There was a chef on hand to cook omelettes at breakfast, pasta or stir fries at lunchtime and fresh meats and fish in the evening. We never felt rushed and the food was kept fresh and topped up regularly. The wine include in our all inclusive package was of good quality and served by the bottle (thank you Paco for keeping our glasses filled!) My only one negative comment would be more parasols are needed on the outside terrace as it does get very hot in the sunshine - but if you don't like direct sun you can eat inside in the air conditioned restaurant. Other comments here have mentioned the music. There is no music around the pool (which we liked) except for about 30minutes at 12noon when theres the aqua classes. The music in the main bar is very good with high quality performers and DJs - ideal for this class of hotel. It is varied to suit all tastes and we didn't find it intrusive. It always finished promptly at 11pm. We only left the hotel twice to walk into the local area - there wasn't much there about from the usual bars and tourist shops, and the beach wasn't very appealing. But the hotel was so perfect, there really is no reason to leave! This is an excellent hotel that prides itself with high standards across all areas. If you like a busy hotel with loud music with a rowdy pool vibe and wear your swimwear into the restaurant, then this hotel is definitely NOT for you!

Our stay was really great overall! The room was nice and spacious with a beautiful ocean view. The pool area was really pretty and relaxing to hang out. The breakfast buffet was delicious with endless options, and the view from the breakfast area is so lovely looking over the ocean. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely come back!

Just leaving the Melia Jardines del teide had a good holiday Rooms and staff fantastic Necco superb around pool area - bar staff very good Information for holidaymakers once you have checked out at 12 o,clock your all inclusive stops so no lunch or drinks unless you pay for them ! Which we found very unusual ! All inclusive hotels I have stayed in allows lunch and drinks until you leave their properties so bare that in mind if you have late flights. It put a bit of a bad taste to the end of our holiday.
