Melia Jardines del Teide

Just stayed for a week at this beautiful and stylish resort. It is adults-only so after a 4 hour flight full of screaming kids, that was a very welcome benefit. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We paid extra for the Level benefits and it was certainly worth it. The a la carte breakfasts were a great start to the day and the tapas and drinks later on made a nice treat also. The 2 pools were excellent and the gym was good too. All in all we couldn't fault it. We had almost stayed at the Royal Hideaway in La Caleta but pleased we stayed here as the Level benefits all came at a lower price point and we felt it was better located too. The evening entertainment was usually very good also.

Right off the bat, we have to admit that we have returned to this hotel time after time it is the overall cool vibe that the staff provide they are professional friendly attentive right from the the management to the guy who hand you suncream and a towel around the level pool there would be so many names to single out as there are so many that contributes to this feeling so it’s a five star nod to them all 😊 The buffet food is of a good quality with a high standard of hygiene and choice and as with all buffets it’s what you choose there is always a live cooking station which offers at least 2 to 3 types of fish and meat at every service lunch and dinner Breakfast on the level Terrace is always a joy The level Pool also offers an air of Tranquility with drinks and fruit being offered together with With a very good sun cream station Both the evening entertainment and hotel offered classes are all varied professional fun and interesting So with the great position that sits close to a small town and fishing village to the right is a great place to take a holiday

I visited the hotel with a group of girl friends to celebrate a special event. We were looking for somewhere relaxed and stylish offering good accommodation in a great location. For us the Melia was a great choice. The hotel has a very chilled vibe and never felt overcrowded or loud yet still had a good atmosphere in the evenings within the bar and restaurants - perfect! Our accommodation was very clean and spacious. We booked 3 junior suites which had ample room for two to share with a good size bathroom and plenty of storage. The windows were very effective in reducing any noise from people passing although the walls seems quite thin as we could hear conversations from next door. We had an issue morning one, when the shower overflowed from a blockage running across the bathroom floor, but after reporting to reception they rapidly responded, and solved the issue. The food in the restaurants was excellent and offered good service and value for money. It is well worth dining here, as well as outside the hotel. The hotel bar has a great selection of beverages, reasonably priced and offers great views over looking the sea from an elevated position over the resort with live music in the evenings. Particular mention to Valentina in the bar who was simply delightful! So joyful and friendly and very helpful. Outstanding service! Many people have commented on the different levels and difficulty around access if you have mobility issues. I have some trouble with knee but found the hotel and outside resort no problem at all. If you don't want to take the stairs there are lifts to use. Finally, Costa Adeje is a great resort with a beautiful sea front with excellent bars restaurants and shops. A very stylish place to visit away from loud hen and stag parties. The hotel is a short walk away if you use the gate access down by the main pool

Stayed for a week in a standard room, all inclusive. Didn’t opt for the level and glad we didn’t (only added perks seem to be use of a smaller, more overlooked pool and access to a different breakfast area) Great stay, friendly staff, food was nice but bits of food were often cold which was disappointing. A more detailed review for those like myself who read a lot of reviews before booking: Location - brilliant. Views are amazing, short walk to the beach (easier to walk there than back as the return is up hill but no issue for us but may be a struggle for some). 24 hour shop right at the bottom of the hill also. Staff - really friendly. Some members of staff were so friendly and added to the experience. Food - the variety is brilliant. Different themes each night. However, there were always some items that were cold. For example at brekkie, the sausages would be warm but the eggs cold and the next day the eggs warm and hash browns cold etc. Such a shame and really think the hotel should look at ways of keeping the food hotter and maybe have some microwaves around. Drinks - absolutely brilliant. Next level really when it comes to all inclusive drinks. Stayed AI before where drinks are served in rubbish plastic cups but the glassware and plastic glassware for around the pool, quality of the cocktails and variety of flavours on offer are brilliant. Service was quite slow on the poolside bar though and there was always a queue. The hotel itself - lovely hotel, room was great and spacious. Never stayed somewhere where you have to pay to stay all inclusive on your last day though which was a shame as we were delayed on way out and didn’t arrive til midnight so didn’t use AI at all on our first day but this didn’t seem to matter and we had to pay regardless to use it for an extra four hours. Overall, would defo stay here again but hope the hotel looks at improving the heat of the food and the queues on the bars and toilets (only one ladies toilet at the pool but four men’s?)

Just had an amazing week at this hotel. First class and could not fault it. Food amazing and all the staff so helpful. We stayed in room 216 which was a gorgeous spacious suite. Would like to mention Alice on reception who helped us with many questions over the week and also helped us get a late check out on our last day. Alice was very professional and went above and beyond.
