Radisson Resort & Residences Tenerife

My husband and I visited the Radisson for 10 days from the 7th April 2026. Upon our arrival at the hotel I went to check us in and discovered that there wasn't a reservation under our name. The receptionist took our reservation number from my Jet2 confirmation and after about 15 minutes they found our booking under a completely different name, not the start you want to your holiday. We took our cases to our room which was nicely decorated and overlooked the beautiful lush gardens. The restaurant is located in a separate building to the rooms and is a lovely walk through the gardens as long as it's not raining. The food in the restaurant is ok. For breakfast there are plenty of options such as cereals, meat, bread and hot food along with hot beverages, fresh juices and smoothies. Evening meals have plenty of options too with salads, cold and hot meats plus several types of other hot choices, there are also plenty of delicious desserts. However, the hot food isn't very hot unless you choose the options from the live cooking area, this is at breakfast and evening meal. The staff at the hotel are all lovely and can't do enough for you. The wellness spa wasn't up and running which was disappointing as it would have been lovely to have a little pamper. Would I come here again? Probably not but I also probably wouldn't come to Tenerife again.

Fabulous hotel. I would definitely come back here. Food lovely and staff all amazing! Spotless clean and nothing is any trouble to staff.

Puerto de la Cruz is easily the best area to stay in Tenerife—far more authentic and relaxed than the crowded southern resorts like Las Américas and Costa Adeje. The Radisson is a comfortable base. We booked a junior suite with a balcony but were placed on the ground floor, where a terrace is considered a “balcony,” which was disappointing. As a Premier Member, I also received no upgrade. The room itself was nice, and the bed was excellent. Service was warm and accommodating, but noise was a real issue—walls are thin, and we could hear neighbors and people above us. I’d strongly suggest requesting a higher floor. There’s no hotel parking, but street parking was easy. Breakfast was average. Dinner is buffet-only, so we chose to dine off property each night. The pool bar lunch (burger and club sandwich) was excellent. A few improvements would help: better soundproofing, more consistent towel service, and pillow options. Overall, a solid stay in a great location.
