Last night here after spending 10 days in this wonderful hotel. We were impressed by the facilities and the service. Hotel was immaculate, cleaners cleaning all the time. A very special mention to Barbara in the restaurant who made our dining experience exceptional, she is a credit to the hotel and in my humble opinion deserves a promotion and a pay rise. She was friendly and professional and always greeted us with a warm smile and made sure everything was perfect. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly stood out and made us feel like valued guests. The only negative feedback I have is that this is a no smoking hotel but a lot of guests ignored this rule and vaped in and around the pool restaurant and bar. No smoking should mean no smoking. I will definitely return and recommend this hotel highly. There’s also a free shuttle bus that takes you into town and picks you back up, an excellent service.

We recently stayed at the Radisson Resort Tenerife and came away with mixed feelings. The hotel itself is beautiful. The grounds are lovely, well-maintained and provide a relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort. The rooms are modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean, as are the public areas. Housekeeping and general upkeep are clearly taken seriously. Unfortunately, the food and service did not match the standard expected of a 5-star hotel. While breakfast and dinner offered a reasonable selection, the menus became very repetitive during our stay and the overall quality was disappointing. We expected a much higher standard given the hotel's rating. The biggest issue, however, was the attitude of many of the staff. In particular, the service at the Magma Pool Bar (Julio) was consistently poor. We were often ignored and encountered staff who appeared extremely unhappy to be there. It was genuinely uncomfortable and was sad to think guests who were paying to be there were treated like this. Two members of staff who genuinely stood out were Darwin and Irvin. They were friendly, approachable and actually smiled at guests – something that sadly felt like a rarity during our stay. Darwin should train the other employees on the basics of customer service and hospitality. The main restaurant also appeared to be severely understaffed. On several occasions, drinks orders were not taken until we had nearly finished our meals, which significantly impacted the dining experience. Another frustrating policy was being refused entry to the restaurant with our own bottled drinking water. Access to water is a basic necessity, and this rule felt unnecessarily restrictive and customer-unfriendly. Overall, the hotel has attractive grounds and modern accommodation, but the lack of warm, attentive service and the underwhelming food offering prevent it from delivering the true 5-star experience it advertises.
