Great stay! Everything newly renovated, very nice hotel! Breakfast was excellent. Pool was big and good temperature

The Hotel is very clean and tidy rooms excellent. Room service spot on pool area very calming, plenty of sun loungers. Food was well prepared and of a high standard would l recommend this hotel Yes

A lovely low rise hotel with gorgeous gardens and a fantastic pool and breakfast. It’s only a four because of the service at the pool bar. Magma? There may be reasons for this but service is slow, you wait for someone to come to the table as is usual but no one comes. Then you go to the bar and they ignore you while they finish their jobs. Why don’t they smile and say they won’t be long. It takes a second. There’s quite a language barrier so ordering anything extra or asking questions is very difficult. The man who worked there - Julio? - serves people without smiling. Maybe he smiles when I’m not there? Maybe he has just had very bad news? I know how difficult it can be to get staff but this pool bar/ restaurant was the weak point for me. Thanks

Lovely stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. The room was larger than usual and very well laid out; the bed was really big and comfortable. Hotel was absolutely spotless throughout. We took the half board option- great value and food quality. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The only downside is that it’s a bit out of town, though there is a free courtesy bus. The gardens around the hotel are stunning with an incredible variety of exotic plants and flowers. Great to hear the wild canaries singing. The pool is great. A little warmer than the outside air and very well designed with plenty of sun beds and pool towels.

First of all - the hotel is nice, renovated, everything feels new. Lovely staff at the reception also gave us a room upgrade which we really did appreciate. So thanks to the upgrade, the room was amazing. Overall it’s a nice 4 star hotel - and here comes the issue. It is self-qualified as 5* hotel - in this case it should have the valet parking, or at least some parking. The hotel location is ok when you have a car (the shuttle bus timings are just funny) but if you come back a little late (after 8pm), it’s really hard to find a parking spot in the streets around the hotel. Most 5* hotels also has an executive lounge - not this one. In all 5* hotels and most 4* I’ve ever been to they serve eggs benedict for breakfast (to their vip members usually for free, to others for some charge) - here the chef didn’t even know what eggs benedict are, like she never heard of it. Also when I asked the f&b manager, he went to kitchen to ask but came with nothing - so yes, the breakfast was a huge disappointment. They provide a discount on f&b to their vip members - but nobody tells you that it’s not on alcoholic beverages - you’ll discover that during the payment. It is a nice 4* hotel and for the off-season price reasonable choice - but definitely not a 5*.
