Sholeo Lodge Los Gigantes

I had a superior flow room, which I do not believe was given. I purchased a cheeseburger for12.50 euros, and asked for onions. No onions, and it was more like some kind of lunch meat, total rubbish. I spent over 650euros in the local restaurants, so it was the hotel's loss. There are some good local restaurants. The breakfast was of very,. poor quality. my advise go on a room-only basis

Hotel is in a good location, walking distance to lots of restaurants. Bus stops to other towns nearby. This is a quieter area, small beach with black sand nearby. Room was clean, but only cleaned every 3 days. Had to ask for extra toilet paper. Beds are comfortable, we had a good balcony with sea view and pool view. You need to get drinking water from a fountain nearby. Pool area very nice, kept clean, pool is heated. Small bar and couple of cats. In march there were plenty of loungers available. Nice ice lollys for sale. Breakfast for us felt chaotic - toaster and coffee in the same area. Not keen on any of the hot food, or the fresh fruit. Rolls and cheese ok. Yogurt and seeds were good. Didn’t like the coffee. No one really greeting you - if you are late you search for a table. Staff are friendly and are working hard. Overall good value for money.

We stayed in this hotel for 8 days in total. It is a nice hotel, clean and location is really good. Were just has a little bit difficulty in checking in, as we have to do it by ourself on a screen. But the receptionist was very helpful. We had some issues in our room, as we are facing a construction site (the noise woke us up very early). We had a rough night prior, as our flight got delayed. It was lashing rain as well, due to storm. So, to be woken up so early with a noise of a digger didn't helped at all. So I asked the receptionist if there os any chance we could be moved a room. She, give us choices and even showed me before moving if its ok to my liking. It was a room near the pool and the road for guests with disabilities. It's perfect for us, coz we both have health issues. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The highlight of our stay is the pool, it is well maintained, very clean, loads of sunbeds, couches and their is also a life guard on duty. We didn't try lunch or dinner, we opted to explore to dine in restaurants outside. The parking space is just in the roads nearby free of charge but a bit hard to find space at times. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a chance to relax. I will recommend this hotel, for those who just want a chill holiday and dont like night life like us.

A nice afternoon spent tasting some wines you would normally not have heard of, staff made you feel welcome and created a great atmosphere

My stay here was perfect, rooms were clean and nice, food was great and hotel facilites were great! What made this stay even better was the friendly and kind staff. Would recommend staying here! :)
