Sol Arona Tenerife

Good hotel, clean rooms and comfy beds, friendly staff, good breakfast options which were nice. Good location for los Cristanios There was a few cons for me and potentially others. It is very kid orientated. Lots of activities in the pool/around which plays super loud music. If you’re looking for a chill hotel this is not the one for you but would be great for families. Not enough sunbeds for amount of people staying there. We went in April and they were all pretty much reserved by 9:30am The hotel reception also STINKS of toilets I couldn’t stay in it for longer than 2 mins.

Currenty staying in the Sol Arona. Location is good with a 5 min walk to Los Christianos beach. The hotel has recently been renovated and rooms are lovely. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel during the day but pool is quite small and sunbeds fill up fast in busy periods like Easter. The kids enjoyed water carpet and pool inflatables but these are only on at the weekends although there are water slides for young children in the kids pool. We have enjoyed our stay. Food is ok- but not amazing. There is choice but similar offerings each night. There is only one special per night which is either meat or fish (i enjoyed the specials) . Drinks are included at mealtimes for half board option which is good- only wine, beer and softdrinks) We have enjoyed our stay and would return although we prefer the camiscon beach location from previous visits to Tenerife as there is more going on at night around that area. Entertainment in hotel is average. Mini disco for kids and a selection of singers with flamenco dancers and acrobatics on for 2 nights (rest of week singers) .

We were greeted by the lovely Fio who checked us in and sorted us a lovely room with a nice view. The hotel has been very nicely refurbished Our room was lovely, there was 3 of us and they put up another double bed. Pool area was nice, although could have been bigger for the busier times (we went over the easter holidays) Buffet food was good, not amazing but good for the price. Dinner meat options were always lovely - also very nice to have drinks included at dinner/breakfast with half board. However, a small amount of money was taken from our room, although this was frustrating, the staff at the hotel were very kind (especially Paola) when dealing with this.

had an extremely disappointing experience with Sol Arona Tenerife, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here. I had already paid a the full amount for a full week stay, but due to unexpected family issues, I was unfortunately unable to travel. All I needed was a simple solution: to allow another person to check in instead of me. This is a very common and reasonable request in the hospitality industry. However, the hotel staff showed absolutely no willingness to help. I was told that the name on the booking must strictly match the person checking in, and that nothing could be done — no flexibility, no effort to find a solution. What made the situation even worse was the attitude of the staff. One member of the team refused to give me his name and abruptly hung up the phone on me. He simply stated that because I had booked through a travel agency, they could not help me at all. This is completely unacceptable. Regardless of how a booking is made, basic customer support and professionalism should always be guaranteed. It is honestly shocking that after paying a considerable amount for a week-long stay, the hotel is not able — or not willing — to provide even minimal assistance to its customers. This level of service is highly unprofessional and disappointing. I have never experienced anything like this before. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed for a week in march 26 we were greeted by Henry who was polite funny and very professional he looked after us very well and chose a lovely room for us . The hotel was spotless and the food was extremely good and there was something for everyone. What I noticed was how naturally the staffs manners and politeness , which I'm sure came from there home background I truly believe you can not learn peaple skills " you have them " and the staff from the maids to the management are truly nice peaple. Well done guys It was appreciated. I looking forward to coming back soon xx
