Sol Arona Tenerife

This hotel has been refurbished and that is why we decided to stay here. It looks lovely but we were deeply disappointed with the quality and especially the temperature of the food in the dining room and at nearly every meal time we had to used the microwave. Food is way too cold and the breakfast is awful. Fried eggs are the worse we have ever experienced. They are cooked hours in advance and come out of a heater with cling film over the tray! Needless to say we tried them once but never again. We were all inclusive and the food at the snack it cooked and is put in a ‘hot unit’ but the burgers and hot dogs (very basic) could easily be in the hot unit for over an hour. Again after one day we never ate anything else from it. A huge disappointment Unless this hotel gets a grip of their food situation their ratings and reviews will plummet. There are far better hotels in Tenerife and in Los Cristianos and for that reason we will not be returning. Think carefully before booking! If you like lukewarm basic food go ahead but for a few pounds more you could go to a much better hotel.

Nothing as expected, had an upgraded room due to the bad smell in the original room. The upgraded room was very nice, PROS - This hotel is in a prime location and there’s a Siam waterpark bus stop right outside - this was a plus. - The skyline rooms are better. - The pool was okay and not too cold but very shallow ( I’m 5ft 7”) CONS - Don’t book All inclusive - it’s not worth it. You can do breakfast included or eat off the property. There’s many nice restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. - The lobby always had a smell not sure if it’s the toilets. - PLATES ARE ALWAYS DIRTY IN THE RESTAURANT. - Not great entertainment for adults - needs some improvements. Shout out to Fabian at the pool bar and lobby bar. Very nice guy 👌with great customer service. Any points mentioned the hotel is aware of.

We had a fantastic stay at Sol Arona Los Cristianos and would happily return. We were on Bed & Breakfast basis and have to say the breakfast was lovely. Everything available from fresh fruit and yogurt to cold meats, cheeses, lovely fresh bread, pastries and hot food. The hotel itself has been recently refurbished and is spotlessly clean throughout. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a beautiful view overlooking both the sea and the pool. We enjoyed having a small balcony, with table, chairs, and even drying lines. The room was well-equipped with a kettle, fridge, and excellent air conditioning. There is free wifi. Housekeeping was great, with daily cleaning and new towels if required keeping everything fresh. The staff were welcoming and friendly. There was always plenty to do, thanks to the varied daily activities. The animation team were fantastic—enthusiastic, engaging, and passionate about what they do. In the evenings, there was entertainment in the reception area after the children’s disco. I joined in lots of activities from making Sangria and Mojitos to making Aloe Vera from scratch. I joined in the Aqua fitness classes too. The location is excellent- very central, with easy access to the promenade and a wide range of bars, restaurants, and shops nearby. Overall, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. It was a relaxing, fun, and memorable stay, and we would definitely visit again.

Myself and sister (53 &55) visited SOL ARONA for the 4th time. The renovations are amazing, the hotel is now a very well deserved 4 star. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms (sol room with lounge) are very comfortable and welcoming and was cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding. Fridge, free safe, free internet, hair dryer, kettle and free toiletries. The food ( half board) is outstanding, something for everyone, roast beef, roast lamb, salmon etc. All cooked to perfection. Vegetables were cooked very well too, no mushy overcooked veg here, amazing ! Coffee machine does perfect cappuccino and fresh juices available on help yourself machines including wine on the evening meal. The pool is now much warmer and looks great with plentiful sunbeds and umbrellas, constant lifeguard and pool bar with great pina coladas. Sol is approx 7 minutes walk down to the beautiful beach and shops / restaurants or in the opposite direction again approx 7 minutes is the sports and cabaret bars. Taylor's for sports is fantastic run by Andy with Val and Lenny, they are amazing and have fabulous home cooked food at great prices..highly reccommend. Overall holiday experience 10 / 10 I will be booking SOL Arona for December again and cant wait to go back. Any negative reviews...ignore, sol is value for money and a great place to stay, we loved it. Thank you Sol once again

It's a lovely jotel, recently refurbished and looks so fresh , neat and very chic. We came here for a week and are really enjoying our stay. The staff is very friendly and polite. The food is exceptional and so close to ghe beach. The airport is about 15mins away, and that's so good. The views from hotel is fantastic. Cannot fault anything.
