Stayed in a Club room with Serenity Pool. So glad we did, as it is great to have the pool immediately outside the room. The hotel is well maintained, clean and attractive with a fantastic cocktail bar. The grounds are well lit at night and easy to find your way around. But it is the staff that makes the hotel. They are welcoming, fun and totally professional. This is an ace team who will make your stay easy. I would love to mention everyone but Liz and Sabrina in the restaurant and Dora and Maria for an interesting and fun Cheese and Wine tasting. Do get the app on arrival to access all that is going on by way of activities in the hotel. The walk down to the port is challenging with a lot of steps. But taxi's are easy to book at reception and find for the return journey. It is about 10 euros down and 5 euros back as the return journey is shorter. A great stay apart from the weather, but you take a risk in April.

Returned from Atlantic Hills two days ago and my wife and I enjoyed a fantastic week here. Hotel is lovely and clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant and pool Miramar bar (for lunch) serve up very tasty buffet and menu food, respectively, to high standard. The pool and area was cleaned and maintained daily, water surprisingly warm for time of year, and no problems with getting a sunbed as pool opens at 10am and no need for guests going down early to reserve. We both had a very relaxing week here and would definitely go back. Thoroughly recommended.

Most of the staff were very friendly, the facilities were great and it was very clean. The food was ok, not amazing. They did put on a few events while we were eating dinner and while it was enjoyable having a piano playing with dinner having loud music and dancing was somewhat annoying. Our only gripe was that you always had to purchase a drink with dinner and got charged extra, having just tap water was never allowed no matter how many times we requested, one time I was even told off by a member of the staff , a simple jug of tap water would have been fine

Just got back from a great week here. The hotel itself is clean, modern but retains the character features of the main building. Bedrooms were a good size and the maid came daily and left the rooms immaculate. The pool area was always well maintained and there were plenty of loungers - it didn't officially open until 10am and there were no 6am visits from people reserving loungers with towels! The food was fantastic, a huge selection at both breakfast and dinner and something to suit all tastes. It was piping hot, constantly replenished and consistently of really good quality (think rib eye steaks, salmon etc.) The bar prices were very reasonable for a hotel and everyone buys a drink with dinner but you also have fridges in your room so we popped into town and bought cans of coke and beer to keep in the fridge for the evening. Yes the town is downhill, but it's an easy walk down if you have normal mobility - walking back there were lots of places to stop if you needed or a taxi from the main square is less than 5 euros.

Booked as a winter break at quite short notice and we selected the hotel based on reviews and location. The hotel is situated in a very pleasant and quiet part of the resort on a hillside overlooking the bay with Mount Tiede to the rear of the hotel. When the weather was good we had a stunning view of the snow capped mountain. Sadly, the national parks were all closed due to the very heavy and unseasonal weather. Plus points. Spotlessly clean, lovely staff across all areas of the hotel. Two super outdoor pools, one infinity pool, small but with great coastal views. Plenty of sun beds available, albeit we only had three out of the seven days when it was warm enough to sit by the pools. Lovely pool bar. Gardens well presented. Very quiet area. Upper deck are 2 jacuzzi’s, with a sun deck area, can be breezy but nice area and if you are located on the 5th floor, a step outside of those rooms. Again, never crowded, always spaces. Top floor 9, jacuzzi and sunbeds. This offers superb views of Mount Tiede. Food was pretty good throughout. Huge choice of breakfast. Dinner varied with a banquet on our first night, which was amazing with a huge selection of sushi, fresh fish, massive grilled prawns and Langoustine. The food overall was a good 7.5/10. Plenty of choices to suit most palates and dietary preferences. This was the first time we had been half board for several year, but it was fine and drinks were all reasonably priced with generous spirit amounts. Overall, a smashing hotel. Room was very spacious, lovely beds, daily maid service.
