Just spent a lovely 10 days at the Atlantic Hills. Hotel is superb, spotlessly clean always smells so fresh wherever you are in the hotel. Staff are amazing cannot do enough for you, always smiling and so friendly. I’d like to name names of those who stood out but that’s unfair for the others whose names I didn’t get. Food was lovely always plenty of choice, lots of variety you’d have to be pretty fussy not to find something you liked. Rooms were spacious, we had a junior suite with a sea view balcony, only gripe was there wasn’t much storage, a hanging rail and one drawer and we like to put our clothes away not piled up. The walk down to town is steep but several choices of route and less than €5 in a taxi if you don’t fancy a hike back up. The down side was the weather! Because of the location of Puerto de la Cruz being at the foothills of Mount Teide it is very often shrouded in cloud, warm but we like to see the sun. In 10 days we had 2 days and 2 half days of sun and nowhere in the reviews did it ever mention this which is very surprising we’re not sun worshippers but it’s nice to wake up to sunshine and blue skies every day rather than grey cloud.

We arrived on 1/6/26 for 7 days. We upgraded to a club double room, which cost £234 extra for 2 of us. This was well worth it. 9 rooms share one very quiet and comfortable pool area, close enough to the pool bar if you want to get a drink or snack. The rooms with queen size beds were comfortable and clean. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, and lots of different places to sit or lie in the sun or shade. The weather can be cloudy with some sun, but we knew this before we visited. We spent our mornings walking around Puerto and there is lots to see, and lots of lovely bars and restaurants. The walk from the hotel to the town centre through Taoro Park with steep steps takes no more than 15 minutes. The steps are tough coming back up, but you can walk the road way which is longer but much easier. Half board at the hotel included one meal at the a la carte. This meal was terrible. Each course was very salty, the steak was so salty most got left on the plate. The cod in an Indian sauce was overcooked, tasteless and the sauce was more like a broth, most of this also got left. We decided to try the normal restaurant one night, and this was also very poor. The starters were OK but the mains were poor. The other 5 nights we ate out and had some great meals. Breakfast selection was good, my partner enjoyed it, I thought it was adequate. It is cheap to eat and drink in puerto, sometimes about half of what you would pay in the UK. If you are looking for a great hotel in a fantastic setting, with great facilities and don't mind eating out for dinner, I'd definitely recommend this hotel, but bear in mind the hills and the weather.

I loved how modern it was here. Staff was lovely. I will say the food wasn’t all that great I kinda just ate picky bits all week but other than that it was fantastic. The Michelin restaurant was amazing. The server was so lovely and polite and the different foods they gave us was delicious! I personally absolutely loved my room very nice and clean.
