Hurawalhi Resort Maldives

Our stay at Hurawalhi Maldives was honestly incredible – everything just felt right from the very beginning to the very end. Coming back to this beautiful island reminded us all over again why we love it so much. Yes, the island itself is stunning, but what really makes it special are the people. We’d love to say a huge thank you to: • Harshal and Murugan – the food was outstanding, every meal felt like a masterpiece • Suresh – your desserts were just on another level (especially black chocolate pudding!) • Barsha, Tulsa, and Farrey – thank you for taking such great care of us and always making us feel welcome • Afrah – we really appreciated how well you looked after us throughout our stay • Bahau – a big, heartfelt thank you for everything, your hospitality was amazing • Yum – we must mention that we missed you! And of course, big thank you to the whole team. Everyone we met was so kind, attentive, and clearly cared about making our stay special. We couldn't ask for a better experience, that’s why we always come back.

Our stay was the second time after 5 years. It was amazing again to stay at this wonderful resort with all these friendly service personnel. Food was delicious, the atmosphere is so special. All people working there create a feeling of being part of a big family. It feels authentic and real and that makes this resort so unique and special. All places (bar, restaurants) are so nice. We saw a lot of sharks (one day 5 together), 6 eagle rays, 1 turtle, and during the day often dolphins). Snorkeling is a highlight. Thank you again for these amazing moments for life.

Everything about this resort is fantastic! The people, the food, the villa, the excursions, the snorkeling at the resort and all the creatures in the water - rays and turtles and sharks!!! We would love to go again!!

We had an amazing time at Hurawalhi. This was our first visit to the Maldives so we did our research and Hurawalhi ticked all the boxes for us. The resort was everything we imagined with soft white sandy beaches and well maintained gardens. All the staff were very friendly and attentive in particular our host Elio who looked after us and ensured we had a memorable stay. The Ocean Villa was a special highlight being spacious and comfortable, with the bonus of the ocean below and around us, you can watch the sea life swim by or step in and join them. The buffet was of excellent quality with good variations each day. Dining at 5.8 undersea restaurant was a magical experience. Snorkelling was our prime activity and we were not disappointed, we saw an abundance of sea life including turtles, sharks and dolphins. I highly recommend Hurawalhi as a choice place to stay in the Maldives

We have just returned from Hurawalhi Island following the most wonderful stay at this amazing resort. From the moment we arrived at the welcome jetty we were made to feel special. The welcome ceremony and beautiful surroundings truly set the scene for our holiday. We were introduced to Sam, our island host, who settled us into our overwater pool villa. The villa was exceptional with our own private infinity pool and direct access to the lagoon and house reef which is full of many different colourful fish including eagle rays and reef sharks. On one occasion i was able to watch a turtle swim close by our villa from our pool as the water was so clear. We used the app before our arrival to book experiences that we knew would be popular including dinner in the 5.8 underwater restaurant (wow!) and a visit to Dream Island where we enjoyed a picnic in our own piece of paradise. We booked the A.I. package and enjoyed excellent meals in Canneli, JFK and Kashibo. We also experienced the Beach Wine Dinner which is held every Wednesday and is a very special 'must do!' There was entertainment every evening in the Coco Bar which included the excellent duo - Ambaa, a deejay, and the Maldivian evening. All of the staff at Hurawalhi work tirelessly to make your stay special. Our waiter, Suhail, very kindly took me snorkelling in his free time and ensured that I was able to see turtles and other wonderful sea creatures around the house reef. I am so grateful to him for taking the time to be my snorkel buddy! We would also like to give a special mention to Barsha, Rasheed, Rohan, Pop and the ladies working at the Sulha Spa, all the hard working chefs, bar staff and Irey and his team for keeping our water villa so exceptionally clean and well stocked. This was planned as a 'Once in a Lifetime' trip to celebrate a special wedding anniversary, but, we are already planning to return in 2027. We cannot wait!!
