Hurawalhi Resort Maldives

My partner and I stayed at Hurawalhi for four nights, and our expectations were more than exceeded. We experienced both the Ocean Villa and Beach Villa, each offering beautiful views and kept spotless by the housekeeping team, who serviced the rooms twice daily. The complimentary snorkelling gear from the dive centre allowed us to explore the house reef, which was vibrant, full of marine life, and even gave us the rare chance to spot turtles and dolphins. Beyond snorkelling and watersports, the resort offers an impressive range of facilities : A fully equipped gym, paddle tennis and tennis courts, a futsal court, and a games room with table tennis, air hockey, billiards, and pinball machines. Everything was accessible and in excellent condition. We were lucky to spectate the inter department's futsal tournaments which were great entertainment for the guests and other staff members on the island. Our full-board package let us enjoy Kashibo, JFK, and the main restaurant, where the food consistently impressed us and kept us coming back for seconds. From the warm welcome on arrival to the bittersweet farewell, every staff member on the island was phenomenal. A special mention to our host Zayan, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. We highly recommend Hurawalhi to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and unforgettable Maldives experience.

This was already our second stay at this wonderful resort, and once again, it exceeded all our expectations. If anything, our second visit only confirmed what we already knew after the first: this resort is absolutely worth the journey – every single time! The house reef is simply fantastic. The underwater world is breathtaking, with an incredible variety of marine life right on your doorstep. For anyone who loves snorkeling and diving, this alone makes the resort truly special. But what really makes the difference is the staff. Everyone we met was exceptionally friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. Their hospitality makes you feel welcome from the very first moment and turns an already beautiful holiday into something truly unforgettable. The rooms and facilities are excellent, combining comfort, style, and everything you could possibly wish for during a relaxing stay. Everything is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed, making it very easy to simply switch off and enjoy paradise. And then there is the food – absolutely outstanding! The quality, variety, and presentation were consistently excellent, and every meal was something to look forward to. Even after a longer stay, we never felt that the culinary experience became repetitive. Having now visited the Maldives five times, we can honestly say that we do not know a better resort. The combination of the spectacular house reef, exceptional staff, beautiful facilities, and outstanding food is hard to beat. We are already looking forward to coming back again. Hurawalhi is an absolute dream. It completely wins you over with its serene adults-only vibe, a spectacular house reef where we hung out with turtles and sharks, and, of course, the phenomenal food. The dining experience here — both the buffets and the à la carte restaurants — is a true culinary journey that easily rivals some of the best spots in Europe. But what truly sets this resort apart is its incredible team. Our amazing butler, Dinara, made our stay absolutely flawless. Her genuine care, warmth, and high-level professionalism were incredible. She was there for us 24/7, intuitively anticipating our every need and organizing everything so effortlessly that we felt completely at home. Thank you, Dinara! Special thanks also go to Ifan from the reservations team, who assisted us via email. He was incredibly helpful with confirming our booking and making sure all our special requests regarding the villa location were perfectly taken care of before we even arrived. A special shout-out goes to Casmir at the Coco Bar. The man has a literal superpower — his phenomenal memory for guests' names is mind-blowing! He remembers everyone instantly. Our deepest respect also goes to the sommelier, Manoj. His deep expertise and sheer passion for wine turned every single dinner into a special occasion. Barscha at the restaurant brought so much warmth to our days. She is such a lovely girl, always greeting us with a bright, genuine smile that instantly set a wonderful mood for the day. A very special and kind thank you goes to the pastry chef, Suresh. His live dessert station was a daily highlight, and his Kaiserschmarrn is an absolute masterpiece — honestly, it tasted even better than the ones in Austria! We want to express our sincere gratitude to Azid at the main restaurant. His attentiveness, hard work, and responsible dedication were outstanding. He did his absolute best to make sure our dining experience was always comfortable and perfect. Management should be genuinely proud to have him on the team! We also want to give a heartfelt thank you to Ilham. His exceptional service and care during our unforgettable dining experiences at 5.8 Undersea Restaurant and Kashibo made those moments truly magical and special. Thanks also to Rasheed, Aneez, Ihaz, and everyone else on the crew who kept things seamless every day — you guys are fantastic and true professionals. From the moment we landed until the very last second, we were immersed in a truly magical atmosphere. The range of activities is fantastic and ensures every single day is unique, whether exploring the reef or simply unwinding. The genuine warmth and friendliness of everyone—from the staff across all departments to the ever-present Managers—made us feel truly special.
