Hurawalhi Resort Maldives

Huralwahi is a divinely beautiful spot on this planet. Of all the resorts I could have chosen in the Maldives, I am so grateful that I made the choice that was perfect for me. From the get-go, staff made me feel I belonged. I was so impressed with the communication that must have flowed between staff and how well coordinated they were between their different portfolios to be able to know each guest so well. It resulted in a very nice personal feel throughout my wonderful stay. Despite being among couples and honeymooners I felt relaxed and comfortable. From landing at Velana International to the Seaplane to the Island and back … Huralwahi had me covered. Zayan, my Island Host, checked in with me every day, oversaw everything I wanted to do, and was always ready to promptly assist. Also, thank you, Zayan and Ifan, for introducing me to snorkelling, the colourful underwater life around the House Reef was truly spectacular. My over-water-villa, discreetly and thoroughly maintained day and night by Shiyam – always with a smile, remained a beautiful sanctuary where the 24/7 soundtrack of the gentle turquoise waves was always calming. I really recommend night snorkelling. Thank you for your guidance, Shainéa ! Sunset cocktails at Coco Bar were a daily highlight. Watching sunrise from my Villa - a daily treat ! Dinner at Cannelli with its vast array of different food each night was always deliciously cooked and presented. Theme nights were great ! The F&B staff I met - Zinar, Lalith, Murughan, Ayu, Tulsa always made me feel welcome and ensured I never felt like a stranger. Gasmir at Coco Bar – your cheerful greetings will be missed! Azid made me feel completely at home at every meal. Zinah, Yusuf and Aiham – at 5.8 and Kashibo - the food, the service, the friendliness… No words I can offer can do the experience justice! Both venues are mesmerizingly surreal and should be on everyone’s Huralwahi bucket list! Finally, the Sulha Spa – the treatments were so relaxing, healing and spiritually cleansing. The serenity of the Spa and the insanely serene outlook from the treatment rooms were yet more wonderful surprises Huralwahi had to offer. Rupa, Tiara and Kavya – thank you for the care, time and attention you provided. If you're looking for a solo retreat, that "eat, pray, love" escape - look no further than Huralwahi.

Our stay was truly unforgettable and exceeded all our expectations. The resort is beautiful, exceptionally well maintained, and shows great care in every detail, from the villas and gardens to the pristine beaches. The entire team was incredibly friendly and attentive, with special recognition to our host Akan, who was outstanding and made our experience even more memorable. We also truly appreciated the resort’s commitment to sustainability and protecting the marine environment. A wonderful experience that we highly recommend.

My husband and I visited Hurawalhi island with our two teenaged sons in July 2026. Upon arrival at Velana International airport in Male, we were made to feel comfortable and taken care of. Luggage, and transfers including, taxi to the sea plane terminals, the Hurawalhi lounge, the sea plane itself and the speed boat to the island all arranged. There was no waiting around and no time wasted, everything moved smoothly and seamlessly. We met our wonderful host, Afrah on the speed boat and he took care of all of our needs during our stay..any questions we had, requests for restaurants reservations, sports activity bookings etc. Afrah was very professional and knowledgeable at all times. Our 10 day stay on the island was amazing. We spent most our time snorkelling (amazing and so much to see), enjoying the pool - including our own private pool, eating and drinking (so much quality delicious food and drink). The boys also enjoyed the games room, playing padel, tennis and football. The hospitality at this resort is what made our stay so special. Each and every member staff that we encountered, had a smile on their face and greeted us warmly. We became very fond of certain members of staff. Our favourite chef, Murughan. Such a kind hearted gentleman. Whose cooking was made with heart and soul, he made sure we enjoyed what was on offer every day and made us feel like family members. Nimesh, wonderfully creative and attentive bartender. Amazing drinks and always made sure we had a tasty beverage to hand. So many members of staff made our stay incredible, Afrah, our host. Also Farrey, Manoj, Salaam, Suresh in the Canneli Restaurant. Also Rohan, Tulsa, Sahan, Sajil and Manish in the coco bar. Managers, Cashmir, Lalith and of course Bahauddeen. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We can’t wait to see you all again. If you’re thinking about visiting Hurawalhi island, go ahead and book. It’s island perfection.

We stayed here for two weeks. We truly appreciate the entire team, from start to finish. The food was excellent! I would like to make special mention of: Fazeel, Dinara, Ali, Casmir, and the (chef) cook who prepared soup for my lunch.:-) Manoj, our friendly sommelier—what a wine/champagne knowledge he has. A wonderful stay with room for service improvement. The Candlelight Beach Dinner was amazing—huge praise to the Sabah chef for the delicious food, and to our host Anas for being so wonderful! The food delivery staff were great, and the game room was super fun. However, a few details fell short. Front service was inconsistent; one waiter lacked patience and menu knowledge. Housekeeping felt rushed, leaving Room 244’s kettle with an instant noodle smell and failing to deliver our requested firmer pillow. Hygiene and food freshness also need stricter controls regarding flies and fruit. Overall a pleasant stay, but service details need polishing!
