The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives

S manželkou jsme se zamilovali do Malediv hned při naší první návštěvě v roce 2022 a začali objevovat kouzlo jednotlivých resortů, každý byl jiný, svým způsobem originální, prostředím, přístupem, jídlem i ubytováním. Vždy jsme zkoušeli jiný resort a hledali ten pro nás nejlepší… až jsme se rozhodli vrátit zpět na Standard Huruvalhi, místo, které nejvíce vyhovovalo našim potřebám… krásné ubytování ve vodní vilce, kde kolem plavou hejna ryb, manty i rejnoci, malí i velcí žraloci (jenom ty želvy se nám letos schovali), výborné jídlo v hlavní restauraci (i v těch “vedlejších”), zvlášť dezerty byly vynikající a zejména pak lidé, kteří se o vás starají, nemůžu jmenovat všechny, tak alespoň ti nejúžasnější… hned v úvodu se nás ujala Eva, energická, vždy usměvavá, se vším pomohla, vše zařídila a nikdy nezapomenu na její … “ja vás miluji”, to musí odzbrojit každého, my ji milovali také 😍… pak tu byla Ayu, z restaurace Kula, našla ten nejlepší stůl, vždy si pamatovala co pijeme a stačilo se zmínit že máme rádi hovězí maso a druhý den jsme dostali ten nejlepší t-bone steak co existuje 😁, no prostě úžasná manažerka směny … a nakonec Shakh, ten nejlepší číšník ze všech, na obědech v hlavní restauraci, na večeřích v restauraci Onda, ten se o nás vždy skvěle staral, rádi jsme si s nim povídali a vždy se rádi zase vraceli… a co závěrem… Standard je místo, kam se chcete a budete vracet, protože je tam vše, co od dovolené čekáte… brzy nashledanou . The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The room was spotless, and the bathroom was spacious. It is an excellent hotel for families. The food was delicious, and we had a wonderful vacation. You can book restaurant reservations and check activity schedules via the dedicated app. Since our seaplane departure on checkout day was early, I did wish there had been an option to choose a different time slot.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Standard, Maldives, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The team went above and beyond to make my stay incredibly special. Every detail was so well planned, and it made my time there even more memorable. One of the absolute highlights of my stay was the spa. The experience was exceptional—peaceful, luxurious, and incredibly relaxing. The therapist was fantastic, and I left feeling completely refreshed. It’s definitely a must-try when visiting the resort. A special thank you to our Villa Host, Shamaau, who was simply amazing. He was warm, attentive, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. This place is beautiful, the white sand, the clear blue sea. This place has many activities to do like Diving, kayaking, snorkeling and surfing. I stayed in the water villa room number 55 and it's really clean and cozy. The treatment was spot on, the waiters and waitresses were kind and all the staff was really nice. Our stay at The Standard Maldives was truly unforgettable, and it is a place our family will always remember with so much love. From the moment we arrived at the airport we were welcomed with the warmest smiles and taken to the resort’s beautiful private airport lounge, which was decorated in a lovely bohemian style with lush plants and a gorgeous macramé wall hanging that we absolutely loved. Complimentary coffee, snacks, and games like chess were available, and our children had plenty of space to play while we relaxed. The highlight of our stay was, without a doubt, the incredible staff. Every single person we met was genuinely kind, friendly, and always ready to help. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel completely at home and made our vacation even more special. We stayed in a beautiful Beach Villa and were given a warm welcome, a resort tour, and a helpful briefing upon arrival. The resort app made it easy to check daily activities and timings, and complimentary Wi Fi was available throughout the island. Our villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and just steps away from the crystal clear ocean. We loved our private pool and waking up each morning to watch the breathtaking sunrise from our room. Our children had the best time. They loved the private pool, the large bathtub, and especially the Kids Club, where there were so many fun activities to enjoy. Seeing them so happy made our trip even more memorable. We also appreciated having snorkelling masks and swimming rings provided so we could enjoy the beautiful lagoon together. The food was delicious, and the room service was always quick and excellent. One of the sweetest moments of our stay was celebrating my birthday. I was surprised with a beautiful birthday cake, candles, and a beautifully decorated bed. A special thank you to Mr. Poula for such a thoughtful gesture that made my birthday truly unforgettable. Everything about our stay was wonderful, but what we will remember most is the kindness of the people. Thank you to everyone at The Standard Maldives for giving our family such beautiful memories. We cannot wait to come back again. What a top-notch experience!
