We had such great time! The rooms are beautiful, the food is tasty and the service is lovely. Checkin was easy and calm. The lobby is beautiful. The swim up rooms was such a nice way to cool off throughout the day and the rooftop pool is a hidden gem. This resort is perfect for couples or solo travelers. It’s quiet and romantic. Not the right place for a girls trip and loud group noise. But if you’re looking for a special place to reconnect and re-center this resort is perfect and the Spa is top-tier. One of the best spa experiences with a beautiful hydrotherapy area. Three cons you should be aware of; 1. It’s sargassum season so you can’t use the beach, 2. all of the restaurants at the beach club are closed. And 3. The hotel is not beach front but the beach is a short and fun quick shuttle trip away. The beach club does have drink service though. None of those were cons for us. The overall experience made up for any of those minor inconveniences. We’re big fans of Secrets now and looking forward to visiting other Secrets resorts. .

I hate long reviews so I will keep it concise. Pros: - The Foam party was fun! The DJ and the vibes were great - They have plenty of resort activities during the day and the activity coordinator is full of energy! Be careful though, he cheats in water volleyball - The rooms are aesthetically pleasing, and the bed is soft and comfortable - No kids. Cons: - Too many staff members were cold, unfriendly, and some ignored us (not all staff, but enough for us to take notice) - Food = Basura. Bring your own seasoning. The best food we had on the resort was the brunch at Jasmine but even that was just okay. And the smoothies/fruit juices were mostly foam. Very Disappointing - The room had roaches and the roaches have all the audacity! We woke up to a roach in the bed! We saw at least 3 throughout our stay. - Also although the room is nice, the shower is so drafty and cold because there is no shower door. We had to turn off the AC just to have a decently hot shower. - Spa is severely over priced! $300 for a massage had my flabbers GASTED! Overall it was an okay trip, but I wouldn't book here again.

The resort is located about 50 minutes from Tulum International Airport. Its unique design is inspired by the region’s famous cenotes, with four circular buildings surrounding beautiful central pools. The architecture is interesting and attractive, although the layout can be confusing at times, making it easy to get lost while walking around the property. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The swim-out pool was definitely one of the highlights of our stay and added a special touch to the experience. One of the resort’s biggest drawbacks is that it does not offer direct beach access. Guests must take an open-air shuttle truck to the Beach Club. Unfortunately, the Beach Club is in poor condition and is in desperate need of a major renovation. Food options are very limited, consisting mainly of grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, along with a bar. During our visit, the beach was also heavily affected by sargassum, which significantly impacted the overall beach experience. The food throughout the resort was acceptable for an all-inclusive property, although not particularly memorable. The rooms and bathrooms were attractive and comfortable. The biggest challenge was the condition of the resort itself. It is clear that the property is overdue for a substantial, multi-million-dollar renovation. The pools, buildings, air-conditioning systems, plumbing, and hot water infrastructure all need significant upgrades. During our stay, we had to change rooms three different times due to air-conditioning failures, lack of hot water, and even a leak from the ceiling. Despite these issues, the people working at the resort made all the difference. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication are what keep this property going. A special thank you goes to our concierge, Roberto, who went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible despite the property’s shortcomings. His outstanding customer service, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to helping guests deserve recognition. Hyatt is fortunate to have someone like Roberto representing the brand.
