Domes Noruz Kassandra

Have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Domes Noruz Kassandra. It was our third visit and we are already thinking about our next visit. The staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive. They truly want the guests to enjoy their time at the hotel and are ready to offer advice and recommendations of places to visit. You cannot fault the selection and quality of food available at the buffet. All dietary requirements and tastes are well catered for. The grounds are spotless and well kept. We would see the staff cleaning the paths and pool area every morning. Also the groundsmen maintain the grounds. It is clear everyone takes pride In the jobs. The cleaning ladies do a great job of keeping the rooms spotless. The staff work so hard and we really. appreciated everything they did to make it a memorable stay. I read a review that cats jump on the table in the outside dining area. That simply is not true. In all the times we have visited we have never seen that. There are a couple of cats there but they do not bother the guests. They just hope to be fed, but there are signs to ask guests not to feed them and they do not bother you. I would 100% recommend this hotel, I cannot think of one negative comment. If you can afford the extra for the Haute Living accommodation I would recommend it. The lounge/patio is a wonderful place to relax and there are always soft drinks, beer, wine and snacks available. In the evening there are branded spirits. Thank you Domes for a great stay. Being our third year visiting different areas of Greece, we were looking forward to another break in one of the highest rated hotels in Kassandra, Halkidiki. To say we were greeted with warmth and welcome is an understatement. In fact the entire team of staff working at Domes Noruz Kassandra were nothing short of outstanding. The front of house staff in particular were incredibly attentive, and couldn’t do any more for their guests. Our room was a Side Sea View with balcony on the first floor which overlooked the bungalows in front, with the buffet restaurant overflow to our left. If we were to ever return, we would opt for the Front Sea View. Our room itself had adequate facilities. Whilst not a deal breaker, there were some criticisms of the room we stayed in. The Smart TV did not connect to the Internet, the phone in the bedroom had no dial tone and the extractor fan in the bathroom only worked the first half of the first day. We did however appreciate the high standard of cleaning our room received every day. The room whilst very good, is not what I would personally consider to be a 5 star, it is a good 4 star as some others have mentioned, but it wouldn’t pass as a 5 star in other countries. We opted for the half board option, and judging by comments on Trip Advisor, had been mentally prepared to eat out at surrounding restaurants outside of the hotel each night. However, during our stay, we really enjoyed all of the food supplied every morning and night. Food was highly varied, and equally delicious. Comments regarding “lukewarm food” are not being realistic with regards the wide selection of food items and the turnover required to feed all of its guests. We arrived at the buffet each night when it opened at 6:30 and had no issues with the food at all. The staff cleared our plates quickly and asked each night if we would like a drink with our meals. The warm drinks machines were a little temperamental, but that is to be expected anywhere you go. We never really used the pool areas, but they were clearly a popular destination to be enjoyed by many, especially as the weather was perfect for the time of year. The pools and sun-bed areas were particularly busy during our May visit, so I would maybe think that these areas could get busier during the summer months. The views from the seafront location are fantastic and you can witness many glorious sunrises and sunsets. This hotel appeared to attract all manner of clientele, from younger adults to the elderly. The gardens are also really well managed, with staff tending to duties every morning and throughout such as cutting grass, cleaning the paths and watering its plants. Which brings me to the pollen sufferers. If you are an unfortunate guest who suffers from allergic response to pollen, you may find the olive trees are particular potent between April and June, so be sure to pack your antihistamines! Overall, Domes Noruz Kassandra was a great place to visit and is probably more suited to the guest who wishes to stay at the hotel for longer periods rather than those who wish to explore the surrounding areas. But with a little planning and help from the staff, you can soon work out where the best places are to visit in Halkidiki.

Fantastic location, great staff and food choices. Right on the beachfront with easy access in to local towns for restaurants and bars. Warm pools so perfect for those chillier days. Luxury feel rooms.

The hotel is beautiful but it's just a building without people. It's the staff, as much as anything, that makes this hotel special.Everyone involved, at the hotel, are so welcoming, polite and attentive. It's obvious to me that all staff have a pride in what they do and the place that they work in. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone works towards providing a wonderful experience. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The grounds and building are maintained to an extremely high standard. We had a 'cabana' room which overlooked a swimming pool which, although, is available for use by all guests, is so secluded it is essentially used by guests in one small block of the hotel. There are two other pools, around which are lots of sunbeds. In addition, there is a small private beach. Do take rock shoes, if you want to take a dip in the clear blue seas, as the beach is pebbly. Two restaurants serve tasty food. The main dining room serves normal buffet style food. There is a further beach front restaurant which serves delicious italian influenced food. As customers of Jet2 we were given a complimentary bottle of rose wine which was most kind. It's our last day and are both sorry our stay has come to an end. A wonderful place to stay. One tip that I would give is to consider a private transfer from Thessaloniki Airport. We were greatful that we did. The private transfer took approximately one hour and would be considerably longer on a bus.

Definitly the best hotel with the best service in Chanioti, the guest relation menager Kitty is very friendly, she was very deticated to the guests, we had a all inclusive package with a lot of foods variaty, definitly i will be back
