I don’t know how a hotel gets a 5 star rating in Greece, but it’s certainly not the same set of criteria as the ones they use for the rest of the world. The Corinthia, London; The Sacher, Salzburg; The Jumeirah, Muscat Bay. These are 5 star hotels. I think it would be generous to rate Domes Noruz Kassandra as 3 stars in comparison. It’s fine. The team are trying their best with what they have to work with. I’d also say that previous feedback about table clearing and waiting times for drinks etc has been addressed. The hotel was full for our stay and we could see the extra effort being made to keep things moving along. That said, they haven’t done as much about the loud music round the main pool area and at least 40% of the best sun beds are unusable unless you want to listen to euro trash being pumped out through large plastic rock shaped speakers. We spent the week looking at bushes and neighbouring properties round the pool at the back rather than at the beautiful sea. I think better exists in Greece (Lindos Blu, Rhodes), so you could keep looking. I wish we had, and not fallen for a misleading website and a lot of very kind TA reviews.

We had a wonderful experience at Domes Noruz Kassandra. The customer service was exceptional, and the food was excellent. The outlets manager ( Mr Apostolis Deligiannis) took great care of us, ensuring that everything was perfect throughout our stay. The hotel itself is stunning, with a beautiful and relaxing environment. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway.

This is a beautifully clean resort with lovely friendly staff. It has excellent swimming pools; two gyms - one indoor and one outdoor overlooking the sea and it has a spa (which was a little expensive). The resort has access to the beach with loungers and boardwalks and the sea is beautifully clear and calm for swimming in. The rooms are spacious and kept very clean with bedding and towels changed regularly. They have fridges and bluetooth speakers as well as a TV, safe, hairdryer and plenty of wardrobes, and storage. The main restaurant for breakfast and evening meals serves varied dishes each day on a buffet, serve yourself basis. You can sit indoors and outdoors but be aware - the meat, eggs and hot veg etc are cooked outdoors and then you have to wander indoors to collect your sides. If there are queues, your food can go cold. If you want peace, this is not the resort for you as music is pumped quite loudly everywhere except your room. It has a constant beat which drove me a bit mad until another guest smothered the speaker with a towel. Yoga and pilates sessions were advertised but did not happen. Nor did the pool party and some of the evening entertainments offered. It seemed that the resort was winding down and although it was open for another two weeks, they were removing the loungers and shades from the beach. Also, at this time of year the whole village was shut and deserted except for one small bar This was our first time in Greece so it may be the norm but cats are everywhere! They roam all over the resort including the eating areas and sit on loungers and jump up hoping for food. There are also lots of dogs who wander in which we found a bit sad and worrying as they, and the cats, are are all strays. Do not go here if you have a pet allergy!
