We have just come back from Kefalonia and can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. From the minute you arrive you feel welcomed and cared for. Everyone is so friendly and will do anything they can to help. Breakfast is delicious and the team helped with all our bookings. We were recommended the best restaurants for different types dining and discovered some gems. Can’t wait to return and 100% recommend.

This was, without a doubt, one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in, and we’ve been fortunate enough to stay in some fantastic hotels across Europe and worldwide. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Every member of staff genuinely cared about making our stay perfect, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Everyone was friendly, approachable, and always willing to help with a smile. One thing that really stood out was how easy it was to communicate with the hotel via WhatsApp. Whether we had a question, needed assistance, or wanted recommendations, they responded quickly and efficiently, making the whole experience effortless. The food (breakfast) was also outstanding, with an excellent variety of high-quality options that catered to every meal. Everything we tried was fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. It’s rare to find a hotel that excels in every area, but this one truly does. Outstanding service, fantastic food, seamless communication, and a team that goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would recommend it to anyone looking for a genuinely exceptional stay.

We have just returned from 8 wonderful days at this magnificent location. Like so many others you are just hit with warmth and total dedication from every member of staff the moment you arrive. Nothing is too much trouble. You simply cannot fault it. Cleanliness to the highest standard including fresh linen and towels daily, a superb breakfast (thank you lovely Angela) and delightful room service for a G & T on the balcony before dinner. Their recommendations for Dinner, car hire, beaches and taxis were brilliant - they even set you up on 'WhatsApp' so you can be in constant touch with them should you need it. Martine and her wonderful staff - too many to mention individually - ensure that you will return with the happiest of memories. Our words really do not do it justice. We agree with all the five star reviews for this Hotel. The staff go over and above anything that you want to help you and make your stay as memorable as possible. A particular thank you to Angela who served breakfast every morning with a smile, also Maria and other staff unfortunately we can’t remember their names but every single one made the holiday enjoyable. We would definitely recommend a stay here as it’s so peaceful and the beds are so comfortable. In fact, we’ve never slept so well in a hotel bed and all the time we have travelled. The breakfast is unbelievable as you get a taste of everything they have to offer on your first morning. This includes lovely yoghurt with honey and , a delicious fruit platter lots of lovely cakes. Also some nice bread and on top of all of this, you can have any eggs cooked whichever way you like. It really does set you up for the day and we found we didn’t really need much lunch. We were definitely and would recommend it we were so lucky as well as we got upgraded to a penthouse suite. Even if we hadn’t though the staff and Hotel amazing so a big thank you to everybody.

We have just returned from a week at this lovely hotel. We agree with all the other reviews about the staff making this such a special place. We were served breakfast every morning by Angela who is such a warm and kind young lady and she was so accommodating. However, all the staff were delightful, friendly and very helpful but we won’t list all the names in case we miss out anyone! Breakfast was huge and everything was cooked to perfection, we were so full that most of the days we didn’t eat lunch. The location of the hotel was very central to everything and we had a really nice view from the balcony. The room was very comfortable and immaculately cleaned each day. We will probably return to Kefalonia in a few years and will definitely stay here again. Thank you very much to everyone working at the Canale for making our holiday so special.
