Canale Hotel & Suites

This hotel is in a great location almost opposite the ferry port and convenient for all the local shops and nightlife. Martine and her crew really looked after us for a week and special mentions go to Angela and Maria. We also got to use the facilities at the Casaly sister hotel, which has a spa and gym. We were lucky, as the Casaly was closing for the winter the next day. My wife had treatments (a massage and a facial) which she was very happy with. Overall a great experience and a good base in Argostoli, which is itself the best base for exploring Kefalonia. I would strongly recommend.

Amazing hotel with staff who couldn’t do enough to make my 4-day stay memorable. Great location as it’s just a short walk from all the restaurants, shops, bars and daily boat excursions. Ask reception to recommend dining options - they won’t disappoint! The sister hotel a few doors down does an awesome fillet steak! Breakfast is a feast so make sure you’ve got an appetite. The pool is small but no one else was using it whilst I was there, and it’s a peaceful location to soak up the sun and chill. But if the pool is a must have, maybe this isn’t for you. Most guests spend the day out of the hotel. Bed was very comfy and aircon lovely and quiet. Loved it!!!

Wow! My husband and I have just spent two nights at Canale Hotel. It is quite simply, one of the best hotel experiences that we have ever had. The bedroom is sleek, luxurious and spotlessly clean. The bed is super comfortable too. The whole experience is elevated even further by the staff. Every single memeber of The Canale Team were incredible. We felt extremely well looked after. The level of attentiveness is pitched perfectly, from being presented with iced water each time you enter the lobby and pool to the turn down service or to remembering your breakfast preferences. The pool was exceptional. It was a welcome cool down after a hot day of sight-seeing. It was private and we were often the only two people in there. They also advised on and booked for us a private four hour tour of the Island, which was fantastic. We can't thank you enough for making our stay so memorable. Thank you. Sarah and Craig.

Due to a canceled flight we were allocated a very short night here , all I can say is we wish it had been for longer , it is a absolutely beautiful place from the exceptionally modern spotless interior to the breakfast well there are no words for that , felt guilty leaving it there was so much ! The staff couldn't do enough for us , especially the ladies on reception in the morning amazingly helpful and very caring thank you !! the only negative was that we had to leave when we did ... we would of loved to of stay for longer , hopefully we will be back and will 100% be booking here . If you are staying in Argostelli then definitely book you wont be disappointed.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, our experience was truly delightful. The hotel had a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were greeted with refreshments upon arrival, and every interaction was marked by genuine smiles, warmth, and a sincere willingness to help. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a wonderful selection and exceptionally friendly staff. On our last day we had an early ferry to catch, we were thoughtfully provided with a breakfast box to take with us, which made our morning so much easier and was a gesture we truly appreciated. Throughout our stay, we also received excellent recommendations from the staff, which helped make our visit even more enjoyable. Every detail reflected the hotel’s commitment to outstanding hospitality. If we were to mention one small area for improvement, it would be that the pillows could have been a little more comfortable. Aside from that, everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We would be delighted to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service and a relaxing stay.
