Cavomarina Beach

We spent eight days at Cavomarina Beach and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. In some areas the Hardware requires substantial TLC. However, the entire team is indeed outstanding. We have not seen or experienced better hosts in years, including journeys throughout Asia and Africa. We do not wish to elevate a single person with our comment. Our stay has been a joyful experience because every single associate in each department of this property showed a remarkably positive attitude. Bravo!

Firstly staff were incredible, every single one were an asset but sadly the overall experience was pretty poor, I would rate this 3.5 if I could purely due to the staff. We arrived around 1030pm on a B&B basis and were shocked when we were dropped off as Kavos was literally closed it was like a ghost town. When we asked about somewhere to eat we were told that the hotel kitchen was now closed and left with no options even if you were all inclusive. We had literally no choice but pay the extra to upgrade to all inclusive as there was nowhere open in the area when we arrived (few shops started to open by end of our week stay). It was as you would expect and there are 2 options all inclusive and all inclusive plus. Normally the plus option is just for branded drinks but not here this is also so limited to the time you can use the all inclusive, so if you don't pay even more you only have all inclusive between 12noon and 9pm. So if you wanted a coffee after breakfast you have to pay or wait until 12noon. Never experienced anything like this, really spoilt the whole trip considering we had literally no other options, felt like the hotel had opened too early in the season as we were hoping for out of season or just beginning of the season but not a ghost town being trapped in the hotel (we even did our research before we travelled). Drinks taste poor quality and gin interestingly tasted of almonds. Room and the whole hotel was very well cleaned by the housekeeping staff and if you are looking for a room with your own swim up plunge pool request room 113 as all the other swim up pools are communal. Food had a good selection but many lunches/evenings the meals were missing labels so you sometimes had no idea what it was, nice salad selections and grilled food outside. The snacks were very limited (see pic). Breakfast prosecco a great touch. It wasn't until we were leaving after 7nights that we seen some attention being focussed on their beach area which was really dirty and full of rubbish, even guests went to pick up the litter as it was very unsightly. Overall sadly we wont be back, but again cannot rate the staff highly enough.

I came back to Cavomarina Beach Hotel after 2 and a half years, carrying some difficult memories and hoping—quietly—to rewrite my story with this island that has always meant so much to me. What I found was something far more powerful than I expected. Led by Florian—“the boss”—and supported by a team of genuinely incredible people, this place became more than just a hotel. It became a reset. A reminder of what warmth, kindness, and human connection can do. There are a few names I was lucky enough to get to know: Inis, Ketty, Alex at the front desk, Marina, Fotini, Katarina behind the bar, Johnny, Panauria, Anthony (my climbing partner), Sandiago, and Spiros. Each one of them added something real to my experience—whether it was a conversation, a laugh, or just a moment of genuine care. Sharing this time with my dear friend Levi made it even more special. Together, with this team, something shifted. The past softened. New memories took root. I can honestly say I’m leaving with a full heart. Corfu will always hold a place in my soul, but it’s the people here who have made it feel alive again—more than any landscape ever could on its own. Thank you for helping me rewrite the story. I’ll carry this with me.

Just got back from a 10 night all inclusive birthday stay here at Cavomarina and It certainly was amazing from start to finish . check in was easy with Hetty allowing us to check in early and grab lunch ! the room 323 was perfect with the balcony view and had everything we needed . The all inclusive food was very good as every night was themed and the drinks were available from 12-9pm which had their own signature Cavomarina Sangria ( which was refreshing ) Massive thanks to charlotte , Katarina and Spiros who looked after me and my partner at the restaurant and the bar . The entrainment was good as had a few karaoke nights and also had greek night on my birthday ! The Hotel even had excursions which you can book the day before i would reccomend doing the paxos boat trip and the Corfu Town Shuttle Bus for the day . Massive thanks to the hotel for looking after us on my birthday getaway and would certainly return here !

Its our first time to visit Greece and to avail an all inclusive package. This hotel did not disappoint us on both. Hotel is a dream to stay with all amenities well maintained and room being cleaned everyday. I also love the small details of the hotel such as the mosaic tile art, flowers planted around and the swing on the bar. We also love the that we visited in April where the place is still quiet and we got to enjoy the locals tourist spot without the crowd. There were so much choices of all inclusive from food to drinks, and take note that there were different food choices every meal times. Apart from this - my favourite - all day access to ice cream! But what makes our holiday truly extra special was the warmth and friendly atmosphere of the hotel. Each member of the staff makes you feel welcome, the housekeeping, the gardener, the maintenance, the server, the bar, the welcome /reception staff, and our guy Jonny! Such a wonderful man! Guna - (I think that is her name) - who is always smiling and ready to serve! The bar lady - very patient with our questions every time we ordered drinks, thank you, I am missing my Greek coffee now. The entertainment each night was amazing! Love our last night where it was a perfect time to end our stay with the lovely musician and singer that night. Thanks everyone for making our stay extra special and have the most memorable moments of our time as a couple. Top tip: if you truly want to experience the Corfu island, I recommend to hire a car, but, there is more than enough things to do while you stay in the hotel and the hotel do arrange trips as well if you want to explore outside the hotel.
