Dreams Corfu Resort & SPA

Pros - 1. Hotel is a good location, close to town. 2. Clean. Cons - 1. Food pretty awful, buffet feels like we are in a budget hotel, ala carte restaurants - only 2 open in the evening, not enough greek food for a greek restaurant in ala carte. Plus buffet. 2. Service is Very slow, it's not the staff fault, there are just not enough of them, you can see they are doing their best. 3. Family friendly but feels more like a children's nursery, there are babies crying everywhere, it may suit some, young families but if you are just an adult couple, its not the place for you. If you love just hearing crying all day this is for you. 4. Bars only 1 open in the evening and its very slow due to no staff and 1 bar being open with 400+ people. 5. Room service carries a charge, most 5* hotels dont. 6. The rooms hear every footstep and child cry, they are not very well insulated. 7. Preferred club not great. 8. Ala carte Restaurant reservation in the evening ? Dont worry they'll cancel it for you without notice, no "visit ala carte as much as you want". You are lucky if you get one visit. They want you to eat at the buffet all the time.... Best advice - if you are an adult couple, dont go here, go to another hotel.

Just come home after 2 weeks at Dreams Corfu. Last minute booking as our holiday to Thailand was cancelled due to the Iranian crisis. Had a seafront bungalow which was lovely and the views spectacular. The preferred lounge and pool areas a must for respite from the babies ( see below) Staff are ALL excellent with Spiros, Julie and Alexis getting a special big thank you. Now the negatives. All you can hear is crying babies. I think the hotel is owned by mothercare with the amount of buggies. It was unbearable in the restaurant and pool areas. The restaurants are not always open and the food both cold and repetitive. The tables are not cleaned up after use and you find yourself having to move plates to find somewhere to eat. That’s if you can get a booking even when they are empty. Gouvia itself is a shabby run down area not worth the 5 minute walk I would give the overall experience a 3.8 star rating. Avoid if you want a peaceful relaxing holiday with high quality food. This is not the place for you. Sorry Dreams, must try harder.

Lovely locations, but not 5 stars hotel. Bungalow smelt musty, all of the restaurants advertised wasn’t open. Also food in main restaurant was warm not hot. Luck of staff. App doesn’t work you can never book à la carte. Overall disappointing

We stayed at Dreams Corfu in May 2026 with our 20-month-old and, overall, we had a lovely week. Before getting into the details, I want to make it clear that we genuinely enjoyed our stay. There were lots of positives, along with a few smaller issues that are worth mentioning. The location is excellent — around a 20-minute bus ride from the airport. The area is very picturesque, with a lovely beach and amazing views. There’s also a marina around a 30-minute walk from the hotel, along with a nice large park for little ones. We travelled into Corfu Town one day for sightseeing and it was an easy 30-minute bus journey, costing around €5 for the three of us. Beautiful place to visit. We had read in previous reviews about a boat taxi from the hotel pier into Corfu Town. However, there was very little information and reception werent too sure either.  The hotel itself is modern, clean, and very accessible with a buggy. We booked one of the family rooms, which was spacious and had everything we needed. However, one major downside is that these rooms are located at the front of the hotel, directly above the staff service entrance whoch was a lesser issue to the fact it was adjecent the theatre area, where loud entertainment and music runs from 9pm–11pm most nights. Our little one was tired out from her day do slept well most nights regardless of the noise thankfully. In our opinion, the location of the family rooms actually makes them less suitable for young families. We would probably recommend a smaller room elsewhere in the hotel instead, simply because it would be quieter. We also had a small issue on arrival as no travel cot had been prepared for our child even though we had arranged for one via email before we arrived. The young man at reception did his best to help and eventually found one, but it was broken and had no mattress, so our daughter ended up sleeping in our bed for the first night. Fine for one night but this could have been a much bigger issue for families with younger babies for example. Perhaps arranging one at the time of booking would have been better if availible to do so.  The room itself was comfortable, with a large balcony, two bathrooms, and a mini fridge stocked with water and soft drinks. One strange issue was a window in the en-suite bathroom that had no blind, meaning the bedroom filled with sunlight as soon as the sun came up. An eye mask became essential if you wanted to sleep past 6am. There are three pools in total. One was heated most of the time, although the hotel experienced some electrical issues during our stay which didnt cause much problems other than the heated pool being cold for a day or two. The main pool near the beach was lively and had plenty of sunbeds available throughout the day.  The food and drinks were excellent throughout our stay and we really couldn’t fault them. However, meal times could be quite chaotic for families with young children. There was often a rush for highchairs, with queues of parents waiting at busy times. While there seemed to be plenty available, there clearly weren’t enough for the number of families staying at the hotel. Some staff were very helpful in finding one, while others seemed too stretched to assist, perhaps due to it being early in the season. That said, the staff overall were friendly, accommodating, and great with children. Service only dropped below expectations on a few occasions. There is one large buffet restaurant, along with two smaller lunch restaurants. The poolside restaurant was quick and had good choices. The Italian lunch restaurant served tasty food, but it was very busy and quite cramped. We waited around an 40 minutes for a Pizza and some pasta. It felt like more staff were needed there during peak times. The hotel was always accommodating for our little one, with plastic cutlery and children’s plates readily available and clean at every meal. There was also plenty for children to do, including a mini disco which had the same songs every night (so you had a chance to learn them) and a good playground. One odd omission though was the lack of baby swings, especially considering how many young children were staying at the hotel. The kids’ entertainment staff were fantastic — friendly, energetic, and great fun. Overall, we had a very good holiday and would recommend the hotel, particularly for families. There are definitely a few areas that could be improved, but they didn’t stop us from having a really enjoyable stay.

Room very disappointing view was a wall almost underground very dark and balcony unusable really spoilt the holiday. Entertainment poor very steady live music and cancelled events. Food was amazing and drink quality in main bar and staff fantastic Would not return based on room:balcony Staff very friendly tho
