Poprvé jsme s manželkou využili služeb cestovní kanceláře a rozhodně nelitujeme. Hotel (zhruba 7 samostatných budov) je perfektní místo pro odpočinek. Člověk se sice dost nachodí z kopce a do kopce, ale to nevadí. Na pláž kousek a jezdí hotelový bus zdarma (tam i zpět). Pokoje mají všechny výhled na moře. Snídaně a večeře byly bohaté a člověk si mohl vybrat, co zrovna chtěl. Obchůdek je hned v kopci pod hotelem. Jediná škoda, že bazén není otevřen ve večerních hodinách.

Very good hotel adults only. Very good and friendly Staff. Staff will try to help solve you with most of your problems. Food is very good. The only thing you need to know is. It is on a mountain flank so it is a very steep walk to facilities. I would recommend this hotel if you want be close to Ipsos and have an amazing view of the sea and region.

We spent a week at the Marilena Seaview hotel and can with some remarks recommend the hotel for a leisurely holiday. The hotel is located on a steep hill which will certainly pose problems from those with a less than average condition or walking impairment. The transferbus from the airport did not go up and dropped us and our luggage on the street at the foot of the hill from where is was a short but challenging climb up to the reception area. The restaurant is yet another rather steep climb up the hill so during your stay a daily workout is guaranteed. Rooms are clean and well appointed with a small balcony or terrace with great views, bathroom is small but adequate with a particularly nice rainshower. The poolarea is great with lots of sunbeds and, luckily given the high temperatures, rather large sunshades and the poolbar is large and welcoming with surprisingly good food and cocktails at low prices. We booked half board and while dinner is about as good as one can expect from a three star hotel, breakfast is quite average and there is not a lot left for people who like to enjoy their breakfast at the end of the available timeslot. Staff is generally very nice and helpful. The hotel has a strict Covid policy which we appreciated in this time and age. What would prevent us from booking this hotel again is the area: Ipsos is a rather sad stretch of generic bars and restaurants with a narrow and not particularly inviting beachfront and water which did not have the same transparancy and blueness we experienced elsewhere on the island. We traveled around by bus which stops conveniently at the bottom of the hill and took the hotelbus to Barbati Beach which is a much nicer (but very busy) place. All in all we enjoyed our holiday and would probably like to visit Corfu again. We can certainly recommend the hotel with the abovementioned remarks.

Together with my girlfriend we spend a week in Marilena Hotel. It was a pleasure to spend a holiday there. What was the best? - Sea View from apartment, and little but beautiful balcony. Waking up and spending mornings with such a view was a amazing experience. Also there is a big enough swimming pool also with amazing view. Plus is all sun beds are for free are there are 3 types of them. Meals - breakfasts was varied and fully satisfying. Dinners - very good and every night different type of cuisine - Greek, Italian night etc. Everybody at the hotel were very kind and helpful. The area of the Hotel is also very diverse. A lot of restaurants and shops. But if you are looking for good spot to lay on the beach there are not any good one in the nearest area. But next to hotel there is a bus stop and for sure you can travel and find a few good spots. Be careful if you are not in good shape because the hotel is very highly situated. But on the other hand it is good opportunity to burn calories after meals :) To sum up - that was brillant decision to chose that hotel and I fully recommend.

The hotel is located on the top of a very steep hill. You can take the private “bus” of the hotel to go up, but then you have to adjust your plans to the schedule of the bus. Or you can climb; the hill is steep, but it’s not a long walk. :) The hotel is amazing. I felt like if we were the first guests in our room. It was recently renovated, it was clean, no bad smell…And the view from our room was magnificent, perfect look to the sea, and the hills too. I loved our room! The staff is very nice and polite, they speak English and German very well. The cleaning ladies came everyday to clean, but towels were changed only once a week, be aware of that. About the food: ambiguous. The dinner was every night like in a 5* restaurant. I could eat myself to death with tasty salads, and other healthy stuff. The only thing I don’t understand, how can the breakfast be so boring…! Literally, the same food every morning. You have to be creative, if you don’t want to eat eggs and toast for a week. People with food allergies should be careful: it may be hard to find something appropriate to eat. Especially in the morning... The waiters were all young men, I think it’s something done on purpose, maybe for more tip? But they were nice too, and it was funny to watch how they can handle the mountain of plates. I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay. Thank you for the perfect vacation.
