The Olivar Suites

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights for an anniversary break and it was so lovely and relaxing. We booked a junior suite with its own pool and the room was exactly as expected, and excellent value for money given it is a 5 star hotel. We were greeted on arrival with a kumquat liqueur and water whilst we checked in. We were taken to our room by buggy and the driver (Demetris I think?) showed us the main areas of the hotel before taking us to our room. He explained all the main features, including the air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar and how to call for different services. We were then visited by numerous staff members who dropped off a complementary bottle of wine, fruit and delicious baclava, sweets and generally checking all was ok. If you can, try to make sure you get a decent amount of €1 and €2 coins ahead of time as you’ll want to tip the staff for their excellent service throughout the holiday. The housekeeping was excellent, we had refreshed towels every day and there is an evening turn down service too. The toiletries provided are very nice and there are a hairdryer and hair straighteners in the room. I saw some reviews that mentioned noise but that wasn’t an issue for us at all, our room was right in the middle of the hotel so the only noise was a bird that enjoyed the tree outside our room at night. We received a discounted spa service offer toward the end of our stay which made a massage all too tempting. I was able to book for the next day and got a gentle back, neck and shoulder massage from a therapist named Alessandra which was just what I needed. We had breakfast every day which was of an excellent quality and the staff were attentive and helpful. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evenings as we prefer to check out the local area. There isn’t a huge amount around, and it was pretty quiet so early in the season, but there are some nice restaurants within 5 mins walk. We particularly enjoyed Kostas and Dionysus tavernas and Bo the Butcher has excellent gyros. All in all a peaceful and very enjoyable stay!

This is our first visit to Olivar suites we tend to visit Kassiopi , we researched the area and after seeing the reviews of Olivar Suites, we decided to book, you look at the reviews online and do think surely the place can’t be this good ? Well the reviews are indeed correct the place is amazing Staff- probably the best staff we have ever come across on holiday attentive always happy and can’t do enough for you, first class .. Facilities - Stunning, Grounds beach (although we didn't use as we had our own pool which was exceptional We had a one bed villa with pool on arrival the air con in room was intermittent, they said it maybe a day to deal with this , within a hour we were moved to a two bed room With pool (incredible gesture) Breakfast- this was a highlight such variety and again the staff serving amazing. We decided to try local tavernas in the evening And went to Mojo burgers, Romeo’s, Kosta, Bo the butcher, delicious bakeries and Spiros all of these are excellent The area has a first class Supermarket with well stocked items and good prices The area restaurants and especially Olivar Suites a must visit . Stayed here for the second time in 8 months. The location is just perfect for the beach , bungalow type rooms spacious modern and clean we stayed in junior suite with pool this time , executive suite last time. The bar is a perfect beach front setting. The restaurant is the best part with a varied menu served like a Michelin star restaurant. The staff are brilliant and so friendly this will be our go to place for years to come. Thank you to all the staff for making it another special holiday.

From the minute you arrive at the Olivar Suites you know you are stepping into somewhere very special, the architecture is amazing, both in the reception area and in the individual villas, and apartments. The rooms are tastefully decorated,and meticulously maintained, and the carefully considered planting around the whole of the Olivar Suites is a joy to behold. A very special mention must be made of every member of staff who we found to be polite, courteous, and very Professional. There is a beautiful pool area or a wonderfully maintained stretch of private beach, with an amazing Beach bar which serves great drinks and food throughout the day and well into the evening. The amazing breakfasts are served in the dining room or outside by the pool. We have already booked for next May and cant wait to return to the Stunning Olivar Suites.

This hotel values all guests but remembers regulars and appreciates loyalty. I took my son, this time and we’ve had an incredible time! From the moment we arrived, I was greeted like family (as I favour first name terms, this was lovely) the guest relations team, all of them, just so kind and accommodating and the entire staff very intuitive so take their lead from Guests with regard to the level of formality favoured. This is so important and this hotel so adept at “reading” people. Thanks to Caterina, Irena, Christiana and Spiros all dedicated to optimum guest enjoyment. Housekeeping great! Our Ioanian suite so well appointed and I even got to occupy the same (404) as in 2024 for my visits then: so thoughtful 😊 suite, clean, well appointed and spacious. The garden area with pool leading directly to the beach- gazebo a lovely addition! The Olibar fantastic: loved live music, Paul the saxophonist and the musicians “Euphoria” so talented. Service for food and drinks top drawer and beach never crowded. Christopher and team so accommodating and friendly. Nothing too much trouble and the team appear, with water and a smile, the minute guests sit down or lie on sun lounger. Flya? This restaurant is a centre of excellence, so well orchestrated by Evangelos and Dimitris. All servers amazing but Spiros in particular took care of us incredibly well. Nadia absolutely delighted to seat guests and another lovely team member. Breakfast high quality and a hive of activity- great selection of hot and cold food on offer. Dinner? Simply divine and the highest quality food served in beautiful and serene environment. On this occasion, I enjoyed three spa treatments, massages expertly performed by Georgia, really relaxing and great for ridding body of tension. Would thoroughly recommend. I can’t think of any negatives at all. Olivar is indeed a top quality 5 star hotel and General manager, must surely be justly proud! A gem of a place. I met many international guests and networked, extensively- a lovely experience. Thanks so much for more amazing memories.
