Cabana Blu Hotel & Suites

This review is our own personal thoughts of our first and only visit to this hotel. Positives….. Great staff, comfy bed. The staff are wonderful but they can only carry the many shortcomings of this hotel for so long. Negatives….. Pretty much everything else! Sadly, this hotel did not meet expectations. Very small and cramped room, safe on low shelf so you have to get down on your knees on the tile floor to access it. Struggle to get a sun bed, zero atmosphere, fun or laughter in bar area - felt very sterile. The food quality was again…...just average, although it was replenished often. The all inclusive drink selection was extremely poor and you had to pay full price to get anything decent to drink. Signs of penny pinching were evident regarding food and drink offered on the all inclusive basis. The shop in the hotel was stripped empty when we visited. We wish the hotel all the best for the future but we did not feel that it offered value for money and we are mystified as to how it has achieved a 5 star rating. Hot tub was of poor quality with very few Jet nozzles. This hotel needs to offer much more for the money it charges. Most of the staff as mentioned were lovely, especially Vivi & Ledion - a couple of the bar staff sadly were less than friendly though. It could be a decent hotel but we feel it will need a lot of work. Have stayed in Kardamena 3 times and will return, but not to this hotel.

we had an amazing vacation with Cabana Blu — from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help or give great recommendations. thanks to Vivi for her care and attention, she truly made our stay extra special! our room had a stunning sea view, and it took us literally one minute to walk to the beach. everything was spotless and excellent cleaned daily. we chose the all-inclusive option and couldn’t be happier with our decision. the food was delicious and varied, there were plenty of basics, but every day the menu included something new and interesting to try. overall, it’s a place we would absolutely love to come back to again. highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming stay in Kardamena.

My husband and I have just returned from a 10 day stay at Cabana Blu Boutique Hotel, and it more than lived up to our expectations. The staff are warm and welcoming: Vivi in Reception is always willing to assist with any queries in a friendly and professional manner. Katerina, Eleni and Sonila in the restaurant provide an excellent service and advice on the many varied dishes on offer and are always pleased to welcome you to their restaurant, all the staff in the restaurants and bars were always cheerful and helpful. There is a very wide choice of food options and it is always speedily replenished as is the drinks service and clearing tables, nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are modern and comfortable from the relaxed bars and terraces and the two pool areas along with the beach bar where the staff are always on hand for drinks service either at the bar or by your sun bed. The bedroom is very comfortable and the maid is on hand every day to clean and tidy. I would recommend this hotel for the lovely warm welcome from all staff and I'm sure we will go again. Dimitris the manager seems to be very popular and friendly with his staff which creates a happy working environment.

We had a fantastic experience during our recent stay at Cabana Blu Hotel & Suites. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, and every member of staff went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The service throughout the hotel was excellent — everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional. A special thank you to Vivi, who truly went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Her warmth, efficiency, and genuine care made a real difference and helped make our stay exceptional. We would highly recommend Cabana Blu Hotel & Suites to anyone visiting Kos and look forward to returning in the future.

Just returned home from a weeks holiday at Cabana Blu with my husband and 8 month old baby. We had a brilliant time and were so impressed with the hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing, nothing was ever too much and they really went above and beyond! They were so kind and helpful, and really work hard. We were greeted with cocktails and canapes in reception on our arrival, and shown to our room and shown how everything works. We had a lovely big room with a hot tub on our balcony. Everything was clean and well presented. The only slight downfall was the lack of storage space, and the strong smell of drains at 6am every day. The food and drink at this hotel was fantastic- the cocktails included in the all-inclusive menu were actually proper cocktails made fresh to order, and not some of the rubbish that you get in other all inclusives! These drinks are also included in the beach bar which was great, and sometimes you can get them delivered to your sun bed (although often much quicker to go to the bar yourself, which isnt a hardship!!). The crepe menu from 4-5pm was a lovely bonus, and included several options of sweet and savory crepes and ice cream. I really dont understand some on the negative reviews about the food and drinks at this hotel, i really couldnt fault it! They even offered to make my baby purees if required! The sun beds by the pool were lovely and comfortable, and the pool area very clean and tidy with other seating options around too. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, perfect for couples or small families who want a modern, peaceful stay!
