Cabana Blu Hotel & Suites

Me and my 18 year old daughter decided to go to Kos as we have never been before. We chose the cabana blu as it was recommended by an independent travel agent for us. Everything was perfect. The hotel is a boutique hotel deserves every bit of its 5 stars. All was exceptionally clean and well maintained the staff couldn’t do enough for you. The food was delicious a wide range every sitting dangerously delicious. The pool area was clean tidy and shaded or sunny and very modern you felt like you were staying somewhere special. Evening entertainment was Greek and fun. Best was the sax player by the pool bar all the loungers were full of guests relaxing to his music. Location is spot on not that you need to go anywhere it really has everything you need for a complete chill by the pool or a dip in the sea which is directly over the road with there own sun loungers and a bar you can still get all inclusive drinks. Highly recommend for couples or like me quality time with my daughter. Oh yes and the room was beautiful they upgraded us to the penthouse which was a lovely surprise on arrival 5 stars and more.

We had an amazing stay. The hotel is beautiful. We had a sea view room which we loved, we upgraded to the penthouse for the final night which I would highly recommend! The food on the whole was brilliant, breakfast let it down for us as the cooked food was always lukewarm, however lunch, dinner and the à la carte restaurants were great. The location is central, you are right in kardamena, and opposite the beach. I would recommend visiting Zia one evening to watch the sunset, I have never seen one so beautiful! The staff are lovely and always so helpful. It’s not often I visit somewhere and want to return, but we will definitely be back here! There are a few things I think could be improved, but they wouldn’t stop me rating 5 stars. Firstly the bigger pool on the lifestyle side gets no shade at all until late afternoon. The umbrellas provide no protection from the sun as they’re string. This meant we had to use the smaller pool which was full of kids during our stay, some better umbrellas would solve this problem easily. You only get one water bottle in your room and this isn’t replaced. I have never stayed at a 4 or 5 star hotel that doesn’t replace the water and provide soft drinks in the fridge. It would be a really nice touch to provide new water each day. This is mentioned in a few reviews and made clear by the hotel, but we did find it odd that you had to pay for drinks at the à la carte restaurants, you can’t even get water for free during your meal. Overall this place is very special and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would happily return in the future. The rooms and the entire resort are exceptionally clean and very well maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Drinks are served quickly, and the service throughout the hotel is excellent. One thing to keep in mind when booking is that there are two sections: an adults-only hotel and a family-oriented hotel. It's worth checking which one best suits your preferences before making a reservation. The hotel also maintains a smart dress code for dinner, which is taken seriously. Guests are expected to wear appropriate attire and footwear in the evening. We noticed that guests wearing flip-flops were politely asked to change their shoes before entering the restaurant. The food was outstanding everywhere we ate, whether in the main restaurant or in one of the three specialty restaurants. Our personal highlight was the Mediterranean restaurant. The dishes were absolutely delicious, and we would like to give special praise to the chef—simply fantastic! (Brother from another mother!) In the specialty restaurants, each guest can order up to three dishes. The only thing to note is that drinks are charged separately there, even for guests with an all-inclusive package. The hotel features two swimming pools, although guests can only use the pool assigned to the section they booked (adults-only or family). There are also two bars and several excellent dining options throughout the resort. The beach is located just steps from the hotel and offers complimentary sun loungers for hotel guests. There is also a lovely beachfront restaurant where you can enjoy drinks while relaxing by the sea. During our first week, finding sun loungers at the pool or beach was never a problem. However, in the second week it became much more difficult, as many loungers were reserved very early in the morning. It would be great if the hotel could introduce a clearer policy regarding sun lounger reservations, similar to how they successfully manage the dinner dress code, to ensure that all guests have a fair chance to find a spot by the pool or beach. A very special thank you goes to Greta (Bar), Vivi, Mikes, Christina, Panagiotis, Konstantina, Paris, and the entire restaurant and bar team. Their kindness, professionalism, and warm hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Overall, we had an amazing experience and can highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely book here again.

This hotel has a beating heart, something quite magical.. That magic doesn’t just happen it’s methodical attention to detail that brings about those results. We are lucky enough to holiday abroad three times a year. Without question the staff are its best asset. Your not just guests your made to feel like part of a family. The food is first class. Whoever the sweet chef is take a bow, your deserts are outstanding. Many look the part but…. The Mediterranean restaurant was ok… not helping the cause was the waitress who for some bizarre reason had a poor attitude and let the side down. The Friday Greek night was tremendous, made better by the hotel staff, who were off duty, but actively joining in. The World Cup was on so it could be noisy, especially when Scotland got a win… To conclude this is somewhere we would return. Thank you guys!!!!

An exceptional spa experience. I had a massage with Georgia, and it was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. Her technique was precise, and deeply relaxing — the kind of treatment that feels both luxurious and restorative. A true highlight of my stay, and a reason in itself to return.
