We initially stayed in a Pool & Sea View Suite with Balcony, and from the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The suite was spacious, beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and offered stunning sea views. Sitting on the balcony day or night, overlooking the sea, was an experience in itself and immediately set the tone for a relaxing and luxurious holiday. We stayed for 10 nights and absolutely loved every moment. During our stay, I enquired about upgrading to one of the hotel’s two exclusive Penthouse Suites for the final two nights. We were fortunate enough to secure the upgrade for €150 — and without hesitation, it was the best €150 we have ever spent. It completely elevated our experience and gave our holiday a truly unforgettable ending. The staff throughout the hotel are genuinely exceptional and deserve enormous praise. Every member of staff we encountered was attentive, friendly, professional, and always eager to help with a smile. It’s clear they take great pride in both the hotel and the service they provide, and their warmth made such a difference to our stay. A special mention must go to Maria, Vivi, and the entire reception team, who were absolutely wonderful throughout. Our original suite, 3022, was located on the third floor in a central position with beautiful pool and sea views. The room was modern, spacious, extremely well maintained, and spotlessly clean. The layout was stylish and practical, with a separate toilet and walk-in shower, while the sink area was integrated into the bedroom design. Daily bottled water was provided in the fridge, and the overall finish of the suite felt premium and thoughtfully designed. The Penthouse Suite, however, was simply on another level. We stayed in Penthouse 1311, overlooking the smaller pool and main restaurant area, with breathtaking panoramic sea views from the private terrace. The outdoor space alone was spectacular, featuring a large wooden pergola, sun loungers, stylish black steel chairs and table, and the standout feature — a large private hot tub overlooking the sea. Inside, the suite felt incredibly luxurious and beautifully designed. The large double bed directly faced the terrace and hot tub, meaning you could wake up to uninterrupted panoramic sea views from your bed each morning. It was one of the most impressive hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. The suite also included everything you could need, including excellent air conditioning, a fridge, Nescafé coffee machine, and a spacious walk-in shower room. One small tip for future guests — there are only around 12 hangers provided, so it may be worth packing a few extra if you like to hang more clothing items. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with a stylish bohemian-inspired décor throughout that creates a luxurious yet relaxed atmosphere. Every area was impeccably clean and well maintained. The all-inclusive offering was also excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality food available across all meals. There was something for everyone, and the quality consistently exceeded expectations. We would strongly recommend booking the à la carte restaurants early using the online link provided by the hotel before arrival, as they are very popular. The meals themselves were excellent and included within the all-inclusive package. The only slight disappointment was that drinks were not included in the à la carte restaurants, despite being served from the same bars as the all-inclusive drinks elsewhere in the hotel. This was something several guests we spoke with also mentioned. It certainly didn’t detract from what was otherwise an exceptional stay, but resolving this small issue would truly elevate the experience to a flawless 5-star level. The location of the hotel is another major advantage. It’s only a one-minute walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants, while Kardamena’s main square and harbour are just a pleasant 5–10 minute walk away. From there, you can enjoy local shops, restaurants, boat trips, and ferry excursions. One additional recommendation — we hired a speedboat directly opposite the hotel on the beach for around €180 for four adults for three hours, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our holiday. You drive the boat yourself, it’s very easy to use, and we felt completely safe throughout. Just note there is an additional fuel charge at the end depending on usage. Overall, this hotel delivers an outstanding luxury experience in every aspect — from the beautiful décor and exceptional staff to the fantastic all-inclusive offering and unforgettable Penthouse Suite experience. For anyone looking for a true 5-star stay in Kardamena, we genuinely believe this is the hotel to book. We will absolutely be returning.
We had a great stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and located close to the beach. The area is quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing holiday. A special thank you to Christina, Mikes, and Panos from the restaurant team. They were always friendly, attentive, professional, and very helpful. Their excellent service and warm attitude made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly come back again! 😊
Our stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. From the very first moments, we could feel the wonderful atmosphere — from the warm welcome and exceptionally friendly, helpful staff to the beautiful design and perfect location close to the sea. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and the beds are very comfortable. Special recognition goes to the restaurant staff — Mikes and Christiana are truly amazing people who made every meal a real pleasure. The food itself also deserves the highest praise: delicious, varied, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. Guests can enjoy excellent meat dishes, seafood, fresh vegetables, and a huge selection of wonderful desserts. Special thanks also go to the housekeeping staff, as the entire hotel was spotlessly clean at all times. For Polish guests, it may be very helpful that there is a Polish receptionist named Pola, who is always happy to assist. Throughout the entire stay, I felt truly cared for and exceptionally well treated as a guest. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Cabana Blu!
Hotel is lovely but did feel upon check out they didn’t care about you anymore! Cut the band off straight away an no offer of a drink while absolutely chucking it down with rain a nowhere to go or sit! Lost our full day upon arrival so would have been. Nice as the star rating of the hotel to offer the all inclusive until you leave! Not have to re pay for it. Not had this in other 4/5 star hotels in Greece so a little dissapointed! But on another note staff lovely an friendly all week and make you feel welcome! Rooms lovely and cleaned everyday! Lifestyle suite overlooking the sea and pool was lovely. The shower was slightly off needing checking as spitting water high up to the lights so had to turn lower to stop the water splashing the electrics! Wasn’t a kettle though as advertised only a coffee making machine which wasn’t as hot as kettle! But not an issue! The hotel grounds are lovely and clean lovely seating and pools! The a le carte restaurants was lovely too and the buffet restaurant was lovely always something different to eat. Drinks was lovely and cocktails too on the all inclusive was lovely! Just maybe take note for guests who arrive late to be able to use their all inclusive until teatime at least! Weather was lovely and kardemena is beautiful would defo retun
Turned out good, but if we had reviewed this hotel on our second day, it would have been totally different. Wouldn't call it a 5 star hotel for the following points; Room was nice, but it had no storage. There was a rack for hanging your clothes, but then they were all on display. No cupboards or drawers, so partly living out of a suitcase. Water; One bottle in room on arrival. Were told where the shop was if we wanted more, as no more was supplied. Been to 3 star hotels where they supply water daily. Tap water ok for teeth and washing. Wouldn't recommend it for drinking. Worse part was we had no water on more than one occasion. No toilet flushing and no shower etc. Was reported and sorted on many occasions. Now the good stuff, starting with the staff. They were all brilliant, very friendly and helpful, especially Atea, Maria and Konstantina to name a few. Vivi was very good and we had some very interesting conversations!! Food; Always found something to eat, cooked well, but not always hot. ( You can't please all the people all of the time) Disappointed with the A La Carte restaurant, which we didn't use in the end, mainly because although we were all inclusive, we were told you had to pay for drinks, including water! Strange. Pool area well maintained and clean. Sun beds really comfortable. No problem finding one, but could be different in high season. Hotel was within easy walking distance to shops and beach areas. Would definitely return in the future, so would recommend this hotel. Thanks to all the staff. PS Manager needs to smile!!
