TUI MAGIC LIFE Marmari Palace

Dovolená v tomto hotelu byla pro nás luxusní, není co vytknout. Krásný , udržovaný areál, výborné jídlo a káva v Coffeehouse, písčitá pláž, prostorné pokoje, usměvavý personál po celou dobu pobytu. Velký výběr bazénů, které jsou stále čisté, přestože v hotelů bylo hodně hostů. Zdarma jsme měli prodlouženy pobyt na pokoji, jelikož jsme odlítali v noci. Za vše moc děkujeme a všem rádi tento hotel DOPORUČÍME!!! Opravdu pobyt stojí za tu investici.

Rezervovali jsme si tento hotel poté, co jsme strávili pár dovolených v Magic Life Sharm El Sheik, takže jsme očekávali podobnou zkušenost i na Kosu. Byli jsme velmi spokojeni s naším pokojem, který byl čistý a velmi moderní, vypadal jako nedávno rekonstruovaný. Bazény byly úžasné a rozmístěné po celém resortu, ale jelikož milujeme pláže, byli jsme zklamáni. Byl to úzký pruh písku s opotřebovanými, nepohodlnými lehátky a plážovým barem, který vůbec nebyl na pláži. Jídlo v Magic Life bylo docela dobré, ale bylo tam nedostatek personálu, nestíhali čistit stoly nebo nosit nápoje. Myslím si, že by zvládli, kdyby měli větší jídelnu. Ve srovnání s Magic Life Sharm byl gastronomický zážitek docela průměrný. Večerní zábava byla obvyklá pro Magic Life. Vím, že snažit se bavit různé národnosti je obtížné, ale připadalo mi, že všechny show jsou určeny pro němce. Šli jsme na show Man vs. Woman v amfiteátru a všichni přestali mluvit anglicky a začali mluvit německy, takže jsme museli odejít do baru. Vím, že to jsou drobné nedostatky a my jsme si i přesto dovolenou užili, ale pravděpodobně se tam už nevrátíme.

Location Excellent, really short transfer from the airport and on the beach. Atmosphere Really good vibe around the hotel, a very good mix of nationalities and age groups. Rooms Room was in the main building on the first floor, which was ideal as the lift has seen better days and was very jumpy the one time we used it. Room was cleaned daily and water was restocked, would have been nice if they would have left this in the fridge instead of on the side. Value Great value for money, we booked 11 nights instead of 10 as the price was only £13 each and it gave us a nicer flight time home. Noise Level Incredibly noisy in the restaurant as there were so many infants and babies when we went, they actually ran out of high chairs one day. An adult only eating section would be really good, which we have had in other Magic Life hotels. Noise throughout the day and evening was fine and expected, night time entertainment didnt finish too late either. Service Reception, shop and most bar staff and waiters were amazing. Especially Sushmita and Rios in the pool bar and the fantastic Dimitirus in the Wunderbar who work tirelessly. Our air con broke one day and they were not able to fix this and offered us a different room for the night and also sent us a fruit platter and a bottle of red wine as an apology. Other Points of Note Filtered water available via machines throughout, but this was not good, we ended up buying bottles from the shop as they were only €1. The main restaurant seems a bit small for the number of people at the resort and would expect at peak times during the summer it would be hell. The food is also set out in one line which causes a long slow queue to get anything. The Taverna on the beach front and Italian restaurant were good but you have to book these via a machine in reception and not via the magic life app like other resorts. They serve bottled beer here which was a nice change. Drinks were very good, the slushies at the pool bar with a bit of vodka in really cooled you down and the espresso martinis at Wunderbar are excellent. Booked a courtesy room at the spa on the last day which did not have air con and has no plugs or anywhere to hang clothes whilst showering. Overall it was a great holiday but not as good as other magic life hotels we have visited.

We’ve just returned from a week at Marmari Palace and we enjoyed every minute of it, from the minute we arrived the staff went above and beyond to help. Our luggage got taken to our room on a golf buggy and we got taken on the buggy too, we also got given wraps, fruit, crisps and orange juice as we arrived late so food had already passed however the bar is open 24/7. Our room was great overlooking the pool and it was not too busy as we arrived early June. I would say if you want a sunbed with a parasol near the main pool you do have to get up earlier as we left it later and these beds had already been taken. Lots of beds available further down the complex and on the beach though! We booked 2 trips with the TUI rep who was super helpful and had lots of great tips. We did the Zia by night trip and the Kos town by night, both great price and really enjoyed seeing the town and the sunset at Zia was incredible. We ate at Roots Bar and restaurant and the food was amazing. There isn’t much near the hotel to walk to however there is a bar down the beach called Tam Tam and we would definitely suggest giving this a visit! Food at the hotel was great, lots of choice and we loved the gyros and the pizza you could get by the pool! Drinks had a great selection and the beer was a local Greek bar that my boyfriend really enjoyed. Some staff members really went above and beyond and we cannot thank them all enough for making our trip so special. Farooq at breakfast was amazing and always made sure we had what we needed and kept coming back to see if we needed any more drinks. Rios at the pool bar was outstanding, such a lovely guy to chat to and couldn’t do more for us. Jessica served us in the evening at the Wunderbar and she was so friendly and again so helpful! If you stay in the Wunderbar after 12 which we need on every evening you will meet Motasem, he is such a great guy, nothing is too much for him and he was so lovely to chat to and great to get to know, we will miss him lots. Our flight home was late so we didn’t get picked up till 8:30, we would suggest to book a room at the spa to use shower before you leave when you arrive as we asked the day before we left and the rooms were all full unless we wanted to use it at 3:30 which was just too early for us as we wanted to make the most of the pool on our last day. Entertainment was great the team work so hard, Santos and Jess were lovely and a real asset to the team at Marmari Palace! You cannot get bored at the hotel as there is always something to do and take part in if you wish to! On arrival the fridge is full of drinks such as Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Lemonade and a Fanta type drink, these don’t get restocked however you do get 2 or 3 1.5litre bottles of water every day when the room is cleaned which we thought was great and had more than enough water stocked up for the week! Transfer was so quick from the airport so was at the hotel in no time after we landed which was great with us landing so late. Cannot recommend the hotel enough and we hope to visit again one day!

We began our holiday as a group of ten family and friends, celebrating two birthdays. From the outset, we were impressed by both the staff and the overall standard of the hotel. The food was outstanding - beautifully presented and full of flavour. The themed evenings were a real highlight, particularly Greek night, White Night, and Oriental night, each thoughtfully done and memorable. Jess from the entertainment team arrived around the same time as us, and we bonded over our unfortunate huge mosquito bites. She was warm, approachable, and always remembered us when we crossed paths. Many members of staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and we enjoyed light-hearted banter throughout our stay. Reading reviews prior to our holiday we knew Dimitris was already a legend. He certainly lived up to this with his jaunty manner and sharp wit. He always remembered which drinks we liked to have. He entertained us almost every evening and we missed him on his day off. We all think he deserves a promotion or, at the very least, a pay rise. In our view, he is a real asset to the team. We were delighted by the variety of cocktails and Susmita’s expert skills in making them. She always remembered just what we liked and greeted us with her dazzling smile, always full of warmth. She made us a cocktail from her home country, Nepal. She was happy to help me with my attempt at Nepali greetings. The swim-up bar quickly became one of our favourite spots. Amrita, also from Nepal, prepared delicious smoothies and drinks at the Vitamin Bar. She always remembered my preference for ripe bananas and was equally kind in helping me practise a few Nepali phrases. The restaurant team were attentive and efficient. We built a great rapport with Farooq, who consistently went above and beyond. Michalis and Nikos were also friendly and attentive, making each dining experience pleasant. We made daily visits to the coffee house, where Boban served excellent coffee and offered helpful recommendations for exploring Kos. He also kindly assisted with Serbian pronunciation. Ronie always greeted us with genuine warmth and enthusiasm and was happy to be of service. The selection of desserts and cakes was an added bonus. At reception, the team were extremely helpful. Giorgos assisted us promptly with a few minor issues, and Marija’s welcoming smile was always appreciated. One member of our group used a mobility scooter and required occasional assistance. The staff responded quickly and with genuine care each time, which we found reassuring and commendable. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was immaculately maintained, with well-kept gardens and spotless rooms. The housekeeping team did an excellent job throughout our stay. We were also consistently greeted by staff around the resort, which added to the friendly atmosphere. The evening shows in the amphitheatre were highly enjoyable, with great energy from the entertainment team. Marek stood out in particular, always full of enthusiasm and humour. There were plenty of pools to choose from, and we never had difficulty finding sunbeds. Our favourite area was by the beach and taverna. While beach access was slightly challenging with a mobility scooter due to the narrow boardwalk, it did not impact our overall experience. We had a fantastic holiday and would certainly consider returning. As this was our first all-inclusive stay in over 30 years, it exceeded expectations. Well done to the entire team for creating such a welcoming and enjoyable environment.
