Erato Beach Hotel - Adults Only

I don't recommend this place. We booked and paid extra with a promise of a view to the sea that was OK but paid extra for sunshine all day. The balcony sits on the ground floor with people beside you and no sun. The staff are very cold and not friendly. I'll say no more as it was a mess of a well deserved vacation. I'll leave a photo of the balcony we paid extra for sunshine all day. Eventually moved to another suite.. Its just a heads up for anyone looking for sushine on your balcony.

Really nice place. Beach is nice. Also the restaurant by the beach is really good. Good service and food is great. The hotel is really peaceful.

We gave a 2 rating on booking.com and the reservation manager came back with the rudest comment my wife ever come across. We did not enjoy our stay. We're entitled to say what we felt about the people and the hotel.The comment that was left to my wife was like a bullying comment as they were so infuriated with what we as a couple felt I've never in all my years (got married in platanias) given a review like that. My experience with other hotels/apartments were always pleasent and people were kind .

I have just returned from a recent holiday to Erato Beach Hotel. Unfortunately the pool area is poor and is not suitable for the number of guests, the hotel has 64 rooms but has less than 20 sun beds and most of these have been reserved by 8am with towels! By 3pm majority of the beds are in shade. So most guests have to pay daily for their sun-beds on the beach. Another issue is that the pool doesn’t open till 10am and closes by 6pm, this is not mentioned on the website. The rooms offer garden or sea views, some of the rooms overlook other apartments and can be closed in and dark, while others offer a car park for the local car hire and no gardens in sight! The rooms are clean and comfortable and the pool at serves quality and reasonably priced food. Would I return? No, unfortunately the pool area was a disappointment.
