Kostas gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve had. He worked out every knot with just the right amount of pressure. I walked in tight and stressed and walked out completely unwound, relaxed, and loose for hours afterward. His attention to detail and intuitive sense of where I needed the most work made all the difference. Highly recommend booking with him if you want a truly therapeutic massage.

am very disappointed with our stay at InterContinental Crete. We paid almost €4,000 for a family holiday and were given a very small room for three people (myself, my daughter, and my 13-year-old son). My son can barely fit in the extra bed, and the view from our room overlooks garbage containers and an untidy service area. It is not the kind of view anyone expects after paying this amount of money. What made this even more frustrating was that the manager insisted this is a “city view” room. I find it very difficult to accept that a view dominated by garbage containers can honestly be described as a city view in a luxury hotel. Every morning we have to drink our coffee while looking at trash bins. I asked the management if we could simply change to a room without this unpleasant view, but instead of trying to help, the only response was that we would have to pay extra. Throughout our stay, the answer to every request has been: “Pay more.” Housekeeping has also been disappointing. After the room is cleaned, we often receive no towels at all, or only two towels despite there being three guests. It really makes you wonder if this is just another way of cutting costs. The cleanliness around the pool is far below what you would expect from a luxury hotel. Used glasses and dirty dishes remain on the terrace for long periods, tables are not cleaned promptly, and the overall appearance is messy. What disappointed us most was the attitude of the management. They showed little interest in resolving our concerns and mostly ignored them. Instead of offering solutions, they simply suggested paying extra for everything. The food quality has declined significantly compared with last year, and the overall service standard has dropped as well. The most frustrating part is that we stayed at this hotel last year, and everything was excellent. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to return this year. Unfortunately, the difference is shocking. The quality, service, and attention to guests have all deteriorated. Sadly, this hotel no longer delivers the luxury experience it advertises, and in my opinion it is not worth the money. Great hotel experience! The spa is amazing and the massage was perfect by Evi! She is excellent!
