Clean hotel which is great for families. Upon arrival late on a very hot day the air con wasn’t on. We were told it takes a few minutes to cool the room . It’s a very old unit so took a long time. It would be a nice touch if staff could turn on the air con a couple of hours prior to arrival. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Housekeeping was fantastic and even done the dishes for us! Pools were lovely, water park with slides which close at 3pm (it would be nice if they could extend this longer) We didn’t eat here but were overcharged at the bar for drinks so didn’t go back. Heartbreaking to see the stray starving cats around the resort . I saw a very injured one and was told by management that ‘nothing can be done to help’ which is just awful. It’s a shame the hotel don’t have more responsibility for these vulnerable cats , many of them pregnant. I would expect the hotel to contact local schemes who catch, neuter and release at the very least! We fed the cats daily with tinned food for less than a euro each. Small shop next door is extortionate, go further afield for supplies . We rented a car from a Few doors up (fantastic service) but plenty of buses and taxis available.

Would never go here ever again, beds uncomfortable, resturabt overcharged and they try to accuse you of damages that were there before you even got in the room. They even threaten to press charges.

excellent complex caters for those who want quite area with adults only pool area and has main pool for family's etc. this was a pleasant stay friendly staff excellent fair price food (although soft drinks and coffee were a little pricey at 4.5 euros for can of pop and 4.5 euros for instant coffee small cup)) whole area of Kastilla village is spotless with very nice plants and flowers there is small crazy golf baddmington and a good gym there is also an area with fun slides and adult jacuzzi ? however only open from 10am to 3pm ? and Sundays closed rooms are clean comfortable with free air con and free lockable wall safe on arrival if needed enjoyed my stay only issue was 3 out of the 4 restaurants within walkable distance were closed until further notice so if your self catering you will need to catch bus /taxi/or hire car to get about however a 5 min walk as you turn right out of Kastalia village there is a small cafe just past the petrol station (forgot name ?) where you can get good coffee and soft drinks from 1.5 euros for cans 2.euro for coffee (cheaper than hotel price ?) and they do also hot pastry ham n cheese etc. next door to them is a small restaurant (Again forgot what's its called )where the food is excellent and very reasonably priced you also get free desert and a raki shot when you leave the waitress Sophia always there and very helpful and makes you feel very welcome overall great stay

Our stay at this hotel has unfortunately not met expectations. During room cleaning, a full glass of juice was accidentally knocked over on the table, which permanently damaged and stained my son's brand-new headset (worth 2,500 NOK). When we informed the reception, they declined to take responsibility and suggested the wind was at fault. We find this highly unlikely, especially since we were sitting on the balcony directly outside the room the entire time and it was a very calm day. To make matters worse, the receptionist dismissed us by stating that he knew the cleaner personally and that she would not lie, implying that we were lying about the incident. ​Additionally, we would like to point out that we have unfortunately found long-tailed silverfish (skjeggkre) in our room, and we also found the service from one of the waiters in the restaurant to feel somewhat unwelcoming during our visits. This was noticeable enough that even my autistic son picked up on it. ​We are disappointed with how these issues have been handled and expected a higher standard of service and accountability from a hotel. On a positive note, the pool area was nice
