Our stay at the hotel was wonderful, largely thanks to Georgie😁 She was incredibly professional, cheerful and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, and the lovely staff were always happy to help with any requests we had. ❤️ Definitely the highest standard of guest service. The meals were delicious, fresh and very varied. The hotel’s location is ideal for both relaxation and exploring the area. I’ll definitely be back here next time! Polish Friends

From the check in process everything was smooth. We met Georgia in guest relations who gave us such great recommendations. First was dinner that night.. at such a fun restaurant! And she helped us plan activities for the following day. Georgia also found out we were celebrating our anniversary’s (we were 2 couples) and sent a beautiful surprise to our rooms! The hotel is extremely lucky to have her ! She went out of her way to make our stay there as special as possible. Thank you Georgia!

We recently stayed at this hotel for two weeks with my parents, and during the second week my sister and her partner joined us. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and nowhere near what we would expect from a hotel advertised as 5 star. Before arrival, we specifically requested that our rooms be located close together. However, when my sister and her partner arrived, they were placed as far away from us as possible in what was described as an “upgrade.” In reality, this room was underground, connected to another room by an internal door, which felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe as it could potentially be opened into the neighbouring room. Upon arrival, we were unexpectedly charged £210 per room in taxes. At no point during booking was this clearly explained, which immediately started the holiday on a negative note. Although the rooms were cleaned daily, the standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel was poor. On one occasion, cleaners left our balcony door completely open while we were out for over six hours, creating a major security concern. The rooms were not restocked properly with essentials such as water and coffee, and the cleaning itself was often below standard. The balcony design offered absolutely no privacy. The partitions between balconies were either see through fencing or minimal barriers that neighbouring guests could easily walk around or through. My parents’ balcony only had a large plant pot separating them from the next balcony. At one point, a man was sitting at the end of my balcony looking through, which made me feel extremely unsafe, especially sleeping alone. The walls throughout the hotel are incredibly thin. You can hear neighbouring conversations clearly, toilets flushing, doors knocking down the hallway, and noise from deliveries arriving late at night due to our room overlooking the service area. The hotel itself was not maintained to a 5 star standard. Flooring around the pool area was unstable with loose tiles, creating a safety hazard. Evening glasses and rubbish were often left in seating areas until the following day. The plastic cups used around the pool also appeared poorly cleaned. Entertainment was almost non existent despite being advertised nightly. During a two week stay, there was one DJ performance and one band that repeated the same songs. There was no music around the pool most days, and the limited pool entertainment that did occur was poor quality. I certainly would not recommend leaving children unattended around these activities. Food options were another major disappointment, particularly for guests with allergies or dietary requirements. Choices were extremely limited, and I often found myself eating salad repeatedly throughout the holiday. The breakfast experience was also poor, drinks machines frequently dispensed water instead of juice due to not being refilled properly, and my mother was even served stale bread. The advertised à la carte restaurant was impossible to use. We attempted to book it on three separate occasions and were repeatedly told to come back later. Despite staying for two weeks, we never managed to eat there, while the restaurant itself remained empty most evenings. The evening bar, which opened from 6pm, was also frustrating. Staff questioned and criticised simple drink requests, and on one occasion ignored how I asked for my drink to be made and prepared it their own way instead. The room facilities were disappointing overall. The television had virtually no working channels, there was only one plug socket near the bed, and the shower was fitted inside a bath which would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or disabilities. There was also only one iron available per floor for all guests, and it was in a terrible condition. Laundry prices were excessive, with €7 charged to wash a single pair of trousers. Another issue was the hotel’s toilet policy. Guests were instructed not to flush toilet paper and instead place used paper into an open bin with no lid or use the bidet. This was unpleasant and certainly not what most people would expect from a luxury hotel experience. Accessibility around the hotel was also poor. The main road at the bottom of the hill is extremely busy, and the alternative crossing involves steep bridge steps with gaps that are unsuitable for anyone with disabilities or a fear of heights. The hotel is also isolated, with very little nearby other than a beach that requires either a 15 to 40 minute walk depending on location. Taxis or buses are needed for almost everything. One particularly concerning issue involved hotel security. A guest who had forgotten his key card simply gave a room number at reception and was handed a replacement without being asked for identification or any verification. This raised serious concerns about guest safety. While I will say that some reception staff were lovely and welcoming, and some seating areas within the hotel were pleasant, these positives do not outweigh the overwhelming number of issues we experienced. Overall, this hotel does not meet 5 star standards in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, service, safety, entertainment, or guest experience. We would not return and would not recommend staying here.
