Leptos Panorama

We stayed at Leptos Panorama Hotel in September for our wedding in Crete, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views, lovely facilities and a fantastic atmosphere, but what really made our stay so special was the staff. Every single person we encountered was welcoming, friendly and genuinely went out of their way to make our time there memorable. We particularly want to mention Georgia on reception, who was absolutely lovely, and Betty in the Executive Bar, who was fantastic throughout our stay. Both are a real credit to the hotel! The teams in the main restaurant, indoor bar and outdoor bar were equally wonderful. Everyone worked incredibly hard, always with a smile, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We also want to give a special mention to the housekeeping team, who did such a lovely job looking after our room and surprised us with beautiful decorations for our wedding. It was such a thoughtful touch and really meant a lot to us. Having chosen Panorama for such an important occasion, we were so pleased with our experience. The staff really are what make this hotel exceptional, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make our wedding week so special. We would absolutely recommend Leptos Panorama and would love to return one day. Thank you to the entire team for such wonderful memories!

The hotel definitely gives 5⭐️ vibes in the pictures, but unfortunately, in reality, I wouldn’t say it’s a 5⭐️ hotel. The rooms aren’t bad by any means and they were perfectly usable during our stay, but definitely could be much better. For a hotel advertised as 5⭐️, I think the rooms and bathrooms could do with some updating and modernising. They just don’t quite give the 5⭐️ feel you get from the hotel’s photographs.. The pool area itself looks beautiful and is probably one of the nicest parts of the hotel, although unfortunately we weren’t able to use it because the weather was so bad during our stay. The food was probably the biggest disappointment for me. The selection is very basic and quite limited, especially for an all-inclusive hotel. If you’re a fussy eater, I think you could really struggle at dinner as there just isn’t a huge amount of choice. One thing worth mentioning is that they don’t serve chips at evening meals. To be clear, the lack of chips is absolutely not the reason I’m criticising the food 😂 and personally, it didn’t bother us. However, chips are often a go-to option for people who are fussy eaters or have children who prefer simpler foods, so I think it’s worth mentioning for anyone considering staying here. With the already limited choice. There is apparently a “children’s section”, although I’m not sure I’d go as far as calling it a selection. When we were there it consisted of plain pasta shells and a random meat option. Not exactly the children’s buffet you might expect from a 5⭐️ all-inclusive. The location also wasn’t great for us. There doesn’t seem to be a huge amount around the hotel, and when we went out for a walk, some of the surrounding area looked quite run-down. If you’re looking for somewhere where you can walk straight out of the hotel and have lots of shops, restaurants and things to do, this probably isn’t the place. The all-inclusive drinks were also very disappointing. Quite a few drinks still have to be paid for, despite being an all-inclusive package, which I found quite misleading. It makes you question what the benefit of paying for all-inclusive actually is when you’re still having to pay extra for majority of the drinks. Another issue for us was that there really isn’t much to do inside the hotel. We had particularly bad weather during our stay, so we spent a lot of time in the hotel, and there simply wasn’t much entertainment or anything to keep you occupied. The lobby/lounge was often just full of people sitting around looking miserable because there wasn’t really anywhere else to go or anything happening. The staff and service weren’t terrible, but equally, I wouldn’t say they were amazing or particularly memorable. Overall, I think the hotel looks much better in the photographs than it does in reality. I can imagine it being a much nicer experience in good weather when you can actually make use of the pool and spend more time outside, but unfortunately, with the weather we had, the lack of facilities and entertainment became very noticeable. For the price we paid, I personally don’t think it’s worth the money, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

It was fantastic! Lovely Yoandra was super friendly and gave me a really good massage! This was such a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend everyone to try it! It was completely quiet, so you could really relax!

As soon as we arrived we felt very welcome, big thank you to Georgia, she made us feel like family and really helped us with an itinerary as unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best but she saved our holiday and found us things to do. It was our anniversary and Georgia and staff organised a surprise for us in our room which was lovely. The atmosphere in the evenings after dinner was fun, all the staff are lovely and were very happy to help with anything you need. Would defo upgrade room to sea view. The views from the hotel pool were amazing and the decor on the grounds were great. Will definitely be coming back!!
