Nalu Resort & Spa

An absolute dream. We had an incredible experience - the hotel was beautiful and the staff were fantastic. From start to finish we were taken care of fantastically. The hotel is finished so well. The staff made effort to greet us and chat to us, we felt like the only ones in the resort. Food, drinks, service were superb. We are already planning two trips back next year - cannot wait to stay again and to see the very exciting new extension of the hotel.

Very disappointed that the Hotel did not advise us prior to arriving that they have major construction work due to expanding the Hotel . It starts at 7.30 - 5 every day . Despite numerous complaints the Hotel offered a derisory upgrade to half board in the buffet restaurant which according to their calculations saved us 30 Euros per person per night and on the basis we ate their 11 nights it was 660 Euros . As if we would want to eat in the same place every night . We did not get an apology from management and no acceptance that they should have informed us before arrival. So moving on the rooms are small the two floored maisonette rooms have very very limited space for hanging clothes. We had to live out of a suitcase on the floor as no shelving to speak of . Fair to say the swim up rooms have better hanging space and seem roomier than the maisonettes.

Unreal - the closest place to paradise I've ever been. The views and setting where amazing. But what does this hotel so much justice is the staff, we felt so welcomed the service was first class. Super smart, friendly and talented people work here and it's so clear they work very hard, a special mention has to go to the waiters / waitresses at beach and pool bar, particularly Patrokolos. He's a real gentleman and a credit to the the hotel. It was an honour to be a guest here, I'll be back for many years to come. Rooms are to die for. Spotless, comfy bed, even the hand soap was luxury.

!!! BIG CONSTRUCTION WORKS !!! We stayed at NALU Spa Resort in Crete and, while there are some positives, the overall experience was seriously affected by major construction work happening at the hotel. Management does not appear to communicate this clearly, which is very disappointing. From early morning until late evening, the constant noise from concrete mixers and drilling was extremely intrusive and made it difficult to relax. The ground-floor rooms are also a problem. They are very small, narrow, and far from the sea, with no real side sea view as suggested. Rooms 101 to 109 in particular should be avoided. Privacy is very poor, with hotel guests constantly passing by and being able to look directly into the room and even the bathroom. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, the finishing quality is decent, and the hotel has a nice overall look and feel. However, the lack of honest communication from management about the ongoing noise and construction is unacceptable. In my opinion, this is a serious issue and a good reason to be aware before booking. Based on the scale of the works, this may continue until 2027.

I recently stayed at Nalu Resort and Spa hotel in Greece for my birthday and had the most wonderful time. Hotel was beautiful and clean. You can feel that the staff who work there care. What really stood out to me was the excellent service from 4 members staff in particular. Efi,Galliopi,Ellie and Danielle. They were professional,friendly, and went above and beyond to make my and my daughters stay most memorable. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing spa break. Specially thanks to the outstanding staff who made the stay extra special xx
