this hotel was absolutely amazing, we had our own swim up pool staff were great especially sofia from guest relations made my partners birthday extra special with balloons and cake unice elizabeth gianned were also especially great for our experience in madderous restaurant overall can’t rate this hotel enough we loved every moment and don’t want to leave

Our stay at Oros Luxury Hotel was absolutely amazing. The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with beautiful attention to detail. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location was perfect, approximately halfway between Chania and Rethymno, making it ideal for exploring both areas of Crete. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and luxurious. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a premium and memorable experience

My stay at OROS Luxury Beach Resort in Rethymnon was truly exceptional. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and perfectly located right by the beach. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and designed with great attention to detail. Every part of the resort reflects luxury, comfort, and high-quality service. What impressed me the most, however, was the manager and the leadership of the hotel. The chef and management team create an atmosphere where every guest feels genuinely welcome and valued. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication are visible in every aspect of the resort. They are always present, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests have a perfect experience. I would highly recommend OROS Luxury Beach Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious holiday in Crete. The outstanding service, beautiful facilities, and exceptional management make this hotel a truly special destination. I am already looking forward to returning.

Recently returned from 1 week at the resort. We are a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 young children (8 and 6). We stayed in the two bed room with pool. Our experience of the hotel was generally very good however it’s a solid 4 star with the potential to be a 5. Pros Hotel and rooms are stunning, presented just as they are shown on the website. The hotel is immaculately clean. Our room was large with plenty room for the 4 of us. Lots of hanging space and storage for suitcases. Beds were really comfortable and cleaners in each day to clean and make beds. Staff are generally very welcoming and friendly from reception to bar staff. Pool areas - great selection depending on your holiday type. Adults only, kids and baby pool. We spent a lot of time at the kids pool. Never an issue getting 4 loungers together even in the middle of the day and the pool was generally quiet. Life guards on duty at each pool. Towels available and not limited so can be changed as often as you need. Kids club available but we didn’t use it + a great play area next to the kids pool. Food in the à la cart restaurants was amazing, we tried the pool bar restaurant and Yaku the Japanese restaurant. One of the best settings we have dined in at a hotel with beautiful views. Beach area is very clean and quiet with lots of loungers available. Drinks can be ordered from the hotel and delivered to the beach. Cons A few (not deal breakers) but would help in making this hotel feel like a true 5 star. Food / All Inclusive - as mentioned in previous reviews this is very confusing. AI cannot have all items in restaurants and bars meaning you need to check when ordering to make sure you’re not charged. The buffet was adequate at best the lovely fruit, salads and desserts really saved the day but everything else was cold, over cooked and pretty bland. Fairly limited choice for kids (pasta, pasta sauce, fish fingers, chicken nuggets and chips - everyday!) There is no availability of snacks, ice creams etc through the day which when you have kids particularly is really annoying. Also really annoying to have to give your room number every time you want a bottle of water/ sign for dinner some days and not others. There are no other options near by for food so by our final days we were pretty frustrated with the buffet. Also at busy times it took a while to refill popular items. The layout of the hotel takes some getting to used to with various lifts / stairs / floors. A map would be helpful but not given. I wouldn’t recommend for someone with mobility issues. The location is remote so if you like to get out and about it’s probably not the place for you. We did go to the Old Town which was a short drive by taxi one evening but €60 round trip. There are some beaches bars but not much of a selection. The beach although beautiful is over a main road which means you lose the “resort” feel to get to it.
