Not a bad place to stay but IGNORE all images online of this place as they are absolutely nothing like it , we arrived at reception at the same time as a couple that wanted to leave and be refunded for this reason . Food is good but not available all day like most all inclusive Pool is small and gets very busy Main doors in hotel rooms are sketchy I put a table against it at night (I wouldn’t stay here with kids . Shared balcony in room with next door which I found a bit odd Beds are hard as hell not comfortable Tv in enterance to room but not in actual bed room Beach is nice but also very busy and you have to pay for sun loungers
Servis All inclusive byl katastrofický. Minimální výběr, otřesná kvalita. V žádném případě NEDOPORUČUJI tento hotel. Fotky a podpis v žádném případě neodpovídá skutečnosti.
Nádobí špinavé, kávovar podložen dřívky , nános vápenatých usazenin, pochopila bych snad, pokud by šlo o kemp a ne o 4* hotel! Hotel odpovídá max 2* . Fotografie neodpovídají skutečnosti, recenze si nejspíš píše hotel sám.
Výborné zkušenosti , skvělý personál, lahodné a výtečné jídlo , krásná atmosféra, nádherné okolí, spoustu zábavy pro děti a rodiny i jednotlivce nebo páry, vřele doporučuji všem Čechům, Slovákům a ostatním národnostem, užijete si skvělou dovolenou na skvělém hotelu s báječnými lidmi a skvělým personálem, neváhejte a přijeďte si odpočinout k nám na týden i déle.... Super místo , super pláže, moře, a okolí
We had an amazing holiday overall, and the location, weather and lovely staff made it a really enjoyable week. However, there are a few things that I think the hotel could improve, particularly around the all-inclusive offering. We stayed in a family suite, which was actually a lovely surprise. My two sons had two single beds in a separate room, while I had a double bedroom, so there was plenty of space and privacy. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was generally clean and well maintained. The pool area is very small and there are nowhere near enough sunbeds for the number of guests. The pool bar was nice and the drinks were perfectly fine, but it closed at around 6pm/6.30pm, which seemed very early, particularly as it is the only bar actually at the hotel. The food was actually one of the highlights of our stay. There was lots of variety and we really enjoyed the meals. There were plenty of Greek specialities, including lovely Greek yoghurt, tzatziki, fresh salads and grilled meats. The pancakes at breakfast were particularly good! We genuinely looked forward to eating and felt there was plenty of choice throughout the week. The main restaurant is across the road and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The real highlight, though, was the staff. They were absolutely fantastic — friendly, hardworking and couldn’t do enough for us. They genuinely helped make our holiday and deserve a huge amount of credit. There was evening entertainment at the restaurant on two nights during our stay — a Greek night and a karaoke night. On those evenings the bar stayed open until the all-inclusive finished at 11pm. On the other evenings, we simply sat in the bar playing cards and enjoying drinks until 11pm. There is also entertainment at the sister hotel, Mari Gardens, which is only a short walk away, although the all-inclusive arrangements there were slightly different and finished at 10pm. The beach was beautiful and there is an all-inclusive beach bar. Sunbeds cost €5 each, but once you’d paid, you could stay all day and have drinks included, which we thought was good value. It was only a very short walk back to the hotel for lunch before returning to the beach. The sea was very rough during our stay, so the lifeguard wasn’t allowing people into the water very much, but obviously that’s a weather issue rather than anything to do with the hotel. One thing I found particularly frustrating was the all-inclusive policy. Summer Beach doesn’t use wristbands, unlike the other sister hotels. Instead, you are asked to take a photograph of the hotel’s all-inclusive information and show it if requested. In five days of using the beach bar, we were only asked to show it twice, so the system seemed rather unnecessary. More importantly, we were told that on our final day, once we checked out at 11am, we could no longer use the all-inclusive facilities. Our airport transfer wasn’t until 4.45pm. We had paid for seven days all-inclusive but didn’t arrive until around midnight on the first day, so we hadn’t actually received seven full days. Being told that we couldn’t eat or drink for the final few hours of our holiday felt disappointing, particularly when there was no wristband system and nobody appeared to be checking. It would seem much fairer to provide wristbands and allow guests who have paid for seven days to use the facilities until they actually leave. The location is excellent, though. The town is lovely, with plenty of pretty little souvenir shops, handmade items, bars and restaurants. We also did two trips while we were there. Elafonissi Beach was absolutely beautiful, and we took the little train to Lake Kournas, which is only around 10 minutes away. The return trip was €10 per person and the lake was definitely worth visiting, with shops, bars and restaurants and a lovely restaurant at the top with fantastic views. So, would I return to Summer Beach? Probably not, simply because I don’t think the hotel itself offered quite enough for me to want to return. The small pool, lack of sunbeds, early closure of the pool bar and the all-inclusive restrictions were disappointing. However, I would absolutely return to the area, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the holiday overall. The weather was gorgeous, the beach and town were beautiful, the food was excellent and, most importantly, the staff were wonderful. They work incredibly hard and were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. With a few changes to the all-inclusive arrangements and some investment in the facilities, I think this hotel could be so much better.
