Thalassi

Arrived to the hotel after hours, help us to get our room and had essentials i essentials inside. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed our stayed at Thalassi hotel, where found in the middle of the islands as our planned activities situated either side of the island. Staffs were so friendly, they looked after us. Dimitri’s soup was fantastic! . Every day lovely cleaning ladies go around looked after the cleanliness of the hotel. We had peaceful nights after a long day out. Breakfast and dinner was on point!. Rooms has the necessity need for our duration of stay.

We stayed for 10 nights at the Thalassi Hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They offered great advice for local trips and transport services. There is a great choice of self service food at breakfast time, full English, continental, Greek or any combination you choose. The rooms are well proportioned with private balcony. We took full advantage of the swimming pool and poolside bar. There are plenty of sunbeds. Reserving them is prohibited. The rooms are regularly cleaned and have private wash and shower facilities. The hotel has a beachfront restaurant for lunch or evening meal, a 5 min walk away, with a free shuttle service for those who need. We all had a very relaxing time and would recommend the hotel for couples and family.

This is the second time we have been to this beautiful family run hotel / apartments , where you will receive first class personal attention from the owners themselves Dimitri, eva and there son Anthony, and of course there fantastic team who have all worked there for many years, a real family run business, Rooms are kept immaculate, as is the breakfast room and pool side, where there is a lovely bar area run by steff who is a breath of fresh air . The sea view restaurant run by Dimitri and his staff is to die for , right on the beach ,with stunning sunsets every night. Food is freshly cooked every day from local produce ,and to a very high standard, which is all included in your trip, saving you a fortune on eating out You can expect a great sense of pride from Dimitri,who has a great sense of humor, There's busses outside taking you into town or the beautiful fishing village every hour , or taxi service. It's worth every penny,and feels more like a 5 ***** than a 3 *** We will be back thanks Dimitri eva and Anthony, and all your lovely staff xx Paul and sue

It was a delight to return to this lovely, well managed and spotless hotel for our second visit. I can see why regular guests have been coming back for years: friendly owners and staff, comfortable, modern rooms, a great, recently renovated bar/pool area and a fab taverna by the sea for evening meals. Sfakaki is a small village but it has a good village taverna, a bakery, an ice cream shop, two supermarkets (no need to bring loads of toiletries with you) and a pharmacy. It is perfectly placed for bus trips to Rethymno Town in one direction and the seaside village of Panormo in the other. A short walk up the hill brings you to open countryside, dominated by the distant Psiloritis mountain range. For those who wish to explore the region, there is a good car hire firm just over the road and parking at the hotel.

Wow what a holiday!! The thalassi hotel was amazing. The Hotel was a small friendly family run hotel. The hotel was spotless, the food fantastic and the sunsets in the resturante every evening were breathtaking . Dimitri the owner is in the resturnate every day and is passionate that you enjoy his delcious food and looked after us so well. The staff became friends as they were so friendly from the moment we stepped off the bus we were greeted by Anthony who was there everyday to help us with anything we needed. Steffi behind the bar was amazing and made the best cocktails everynight with a smile on her face and a welcome like no other. Every member of staff here is family and all work so hard to make your holiday amazing .we definitely recommend this hotel and we cant wait to go back . Miss them all already
