TUI SUNEO Althea Village

We spent wonderful family holidays at TUI Suneo Althea Village from July 30 to August 6, travelling with our two children aged 7 and 9, as well as our children’s grandfather and grandmother. The hotel is very clean, well maintained and perfectly organized for families. The rooms and common areas were cleaned regularly and everything felt fresh and comfortable throughout our stay. The food was excellent, with a very large variety at every meal. Everyone in our group could always find something they enjoyed, including the children. The quality and selection were consistently high. The atmosphere of the resort is relaxed and friendly, ideal for both kids and adults. Our children had a great time, and the adults appreciated the comfort and calm environment. All members of our family were extremely satisfied, and we would happily return. Highly recommended for family holidays in Crete.

This was the best all inclusive hotel we have stayed in, in Europe. The food and drinks were excellent. The staff are all friendly. Accommodation very spacious and clean. Good location, with a short walk to the beach and bus stop into Chania. Our only suggestion would be to have chicken gyros in the snack bar more often as it was only chicken 1 day out of the 7 (which was lovely) but all the other days were pork which we do not eat. Otherwise a fantastic holiday. Do not hesitate to book. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff.

This was just perfect choice for our honeymoon! Rooms: Our room was spacious, super clean, and very comfortable. Thanks to the air conditioning, it was always the perfect temperature Common Areas & Atmosphere: The common area is absolutely stunning, full of flowers and plants. It has such a stylish, tropical vibe, sometimes we felt like we were in Bali, not just a hotel! A beautiful place to relax and take photos Facilities & sea There’s a gym right in the hotel area, which was very convenient. Several beaches are also within a 10-15 minute walk, and we really enjoyed our slow evening walks to watch the sunset 🌅 Food & Dining The food was excellent! Every evening there was something new and special, so it felt like trying a different cuisine each day. At the same time, there were always local dishes to taste and plenty of vegetarian options Staff & Service The staff were lovely and super helpful, whenever we needed something, they were there Extra Perks A big plus was that even after checkout, we could still use the common area and all the all-inclusive facilities while waiting for our transfer. Such a thoughtful gesture ✨ Overall We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back! The only small thing we’d suggest is adding some non-alcoholic beer or wine options as we don't drink alkohol and it's becoming more and more popular among young people :)

As we pulled up we thought the complex was very nice, on checking in at reception we were asked for 70 euros to cover the tourist tax. We were based in the new part of the complex across the road ( very quiet), Our first meal was disappointing and me and my wife said well things can only get better, well they didn’t. Food very average, alcoholic drinks were very poor, we went to the supermarket to purchase our own drinks. The entertainment was poor to say the least. No proper entertainment area with people having to sit on sunbeds. No restrictions on smoking anywhere on the complex, for non-smokers this was very uncomfortable. Good points - staff very friendly ,complex very clean,didn’t have to get up early to reserve sunbeds, In our opinion certainly not 4 star as advertised on the front of the reception,

Some much needed Greek sunshine! We were mostly really happy with the room, in the quieter part of the hotel. It was spotlessly clean and a good size. We had twin beds which was unfortunate, as we had booked a double! However, the balcony was really big and we spent a few occasions relaxing there. There wasn’t anywhere except the bathroom for me to get ready so I had to stand up- no dressing table. The bar was ok but quite small so sometimes no seats. The drinks were good value and on tap to guests, which my husband appreciated! The food was fresh and plentiful. Lovely Greek yogurt, honey, eggs galore for breakfast. The mains became a bit repetitive on an evening with no sliced joints- lots of casseroles with meat on the bone. The beach was much further than ten minutes walk away but still worth it eventually! We found a beautiful little church on a hill at the far end of the cove❣️
