Aiora Aqua Resort

Naprosto krásný a nově zrekonstruovaný hotel, kde si lze připlatit za bazének přímo u pokoje a když vás to omrzí, tak v ceně je menší aquapark. Jídlo bylo úžasné, velký výběr od mezinárodní až po místní řecké kuchyně, která je špičková, lilek, feta a ty olivy. Sladká tečka byla nutnost, protože dezerty byly dokonale rozkošný. Ale co nejvíc dělá Aiorou top kvalitou je vřelost a vstřícnost personálu a to naprosto od všech, kdy nám na recepci vždy s krásným úsměvem poradili, ráno krásně přivítali se slovy Kaliméra a večer příjemně pobavili a nalévali nám drinky na které jsme ukázali. Úžasná dovolená, poprvé v Řecku a Aiora zůstane dlouho v našich srdcích. Moc děkujeme, Jarmila a Jirka Procházkovi

Celkově hotel čistý, obsluha nejlepší jakou jsem kdy zažila, všichni usměvavý. Rozhodně se ještě vrátíme. Největší pochvalu dáváme jídelně jak se o nás obsluha starala. Klobouk dolů a všechny zdravíme. Atmosféra v hotelu byla uklidňující žádný stres.

Beautiful, clean hotel. Friendly staff, very helpful. Great experience from start to finish. The food was lovely, something for everyone. Entertainment was really good, got everyone involved. The location of the hotel was great, with a bus stop across the street from reception and plenty shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Taxis were accessible.

We arrived just before dinner ended about 9 15pm, filled out forms and were rushed through to dinner and told to be quick as dinner was about to finish and told sit outside so they could start cleaning! Not the best welcome after a full day of travel! The lady on reception didn’t give a warm welcome and it was all a bit strange. Anyway once we had hurried some food we headed to our room. Do not be fooled by the description of junior suite! There were 3 of us and it was a cosy double at best. A double bed and a very small ( narrow ) chair bed squashed together so you had to exit the double at the end as there was no space between. Storage, There was one shelf and maybe a metre of hanging space for the 3 of us. 2 extra shelves but were 8ft high so unless you’re a giant they were unusable! We lived out of our suitcases for the week. No hooks in the room. One inside the shower and one by the sink. So 2 bathrobes, 3 beach towels and 6 bathroom towels and no where to hang them on top of having all our belongings out and no where to put them! The room was chaotic! Not the relaxing and calm holiday that you want. Air con, the air con says it’s 16 but it isn’t. It felt more like 21 , it was in the 40s for our 1st 4 days and the room was never cool. They also give you one key card so when you leave the room the air con turns off and you are back to a roasting room with no relief from the heat. We had a swim up junior suite! The outside space was wonderful and the pool lovely but there was zero shade so from 11 30am onwards you could not use the space again until around 4 30 when it became slightly bearable. Your only choice was to stay in the room ( the main pool was always full and hardly any shade there too ) or walk to the beach in the blistering heat and pay for loungers with shade there. On the morning of our 2nd day I went to reception to ask for an umbrella so we could make use of our outside space we had paid for and was told to leave it with them. Hadn’t heard anything for 24 hours so emailed and received a reply saying they would be adding shade the next day. Which they did to whole row of swim up rooms. This changed the holiday for the better as we could make use of the swim up pool. It’s a shame this didn’t happen until day 4 of the 7. There were 3 bottles of water on arrival in the fridge but these weren’t replenished so we had to purchase our own water. 2 coffee pods on arrival but once they were gone you had to pay 2 euros for 1 pod. Found this to be unacceptable on all inclusive. We got 3 beach towels from reception and had to pay 30 euros for these! I got 21 euros back at checkout, again I find this unacceptable. I don’t mind paying a deposit in case they are damaged but paying 3 euros to use a beach towel is a bit much. Food, we found the food to be very good. Not loads of choice but what was there was tasty and we always found something to eat. The inside of the restaurant becomes busy as it’s so hot outside no one wants to sit out there but there is not enough seating inside so sometimes you had to. Pool bar, only went there twice and found the staff on both occasions rude. Don’t expect smoothies or iced coffees. I asked and was shown a piece of paper with a few cocktails and fizzy drinks. We had a Pepsi each on both visits and that was it outside of meal times in the main restaurant. I can’t comment on snacks as we couldn’t find it so never tried them. Flames wasn’t worth the 45 euro bill. Basic menu and the gyros were fatty and chewy and the burger questionable. Staff, all the staff were lovely apart from the receptionist on arrival and the bartenders on both visits. We would not visit again and if it wasn’t for the swim up pool we would have been counting down the days to our return.

Really wanted to enjoy this hotel but there were so many reasons we would never return… We travelled as a family of four. Arrived at the hotel after a late flight at 230am. Got taken to our room which was already occupied… with people in it! Finally taken to our swim up pool room which was absolutely lovely, couldn’t fault the room, spacious enough for four, lovely amenities. The only issues we had was that the outside terrace space on the swim up rooms has NO shade for the entire day. When it’s 42 degrees it makes it hard to enjoy the terrace. The swim up rooms really require parasols for shade. We also never had any bottled water in our room which I feel should be an essential in the mini fridge as an ‘all inclusive’ hotel. Lovely coffee machine though! All inclusive was lovely food. For me I always get bored last few days but that’s to be expected at most resorts. The BIGGEST let down.. no ice creams or kids snacks to access in between meal times…. The only ‘snack bar’ is tucked away beside the main pool. It only serves pizza and salad. For a four star hotel I was expecting ALOT more. When it’s so hot, kids want an ice cream! The kids pool and slides at the bottom also only serves all inclusive drinks, there is no snack bar down there so you have to walk all the way back to the main pool for snacks and you also cannot take the snacks away from the snack bar, you have to sit up there to eat! Wouldn’t even bother going to ‘flames’ the all inclusive restaurant, 3 burger choices on the main menu, service was terrible. Had to ask to order after waiting 45 minutes. Food came and we ended up leaving soon after as the entire restaurant was absolutely buzzing with mosquitos. They were landing all over us and our food. Entertainment was ok, they obviously don’t have much of a budget, some nights there was decent entertainment but very repetitive most nights. Main pool and the bar by the main pool is terrible. The pool is just FAR TOO small to provide for the full capacity of the hotel. Good luck getting a sun lounger, all taken and people had ‘their spots’ with towels onto claim their sunbeds by 6am. Again NO SHADE by the main pool and the parasol are crochet so the sunlight comes thought them anyway …. Pointless. All of the sunbeds require replacing, as do the tables and chairs by the main bar. Really let the place down. For some reason there are really nice sofa sets and tables to the left side of reception and main pool which is completely unoccupied area and never used… why not move those to the main bar? The hotels general aesthetic is very nice but don’t be fooled. Wouldn’t return! Most staff and service was very very good, Danielle behind the bar, the entertainment team etc but some looked very miserable. Wouldn’t return. Not a four star. Definitely a 3!
